Scouting report

CLE TE Gary Barnidge - Week 16, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Gary Barnidge - Week 16 vs. San Diego
Gary Barnidge is probably on your league's waiver wire, and he should stay there. He hasn't done anything of value, and there's no reason he should draw any interest this week.

CLE TE Gary Barnidge - Week 15, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Buffalo
Gary Barnidge continued his poor season last week with 27 yards on three receptions. In his 13 starts, Barnidge is averaging 38 yards per game and has only found the end zone once. The matchup doesn't really matter in this one, because Barnidge is not worth trusting anymore in fantasy.

CLE TE Gary Barnidge - Week 14, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Cincinnati
Gary Barnidge's last three games are one reception, two receptions and one reception. Basically, last year's Pro Bowl tight end has not recaptured the same magic. He's not as involved in the offense, and there's no reason to trust him this week against the Bengals. He should be off of the fantasy radar this week.

CLE TE Gary Barnidge - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. New York Giants
Gary Barnidge caught his first touchdown pass of the season last week. This is a tight end who had nine TDs a season ago, and now he's lucky to have found the end zone. The good news is Barnidge gets his good pal Josh McCown back this week, but we're still not holding out a ton of hope for him. Barnidge will be a TE2 play this week.

CLE TE Gary Barnidge - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Pittsburgh
Gary Barnidge has been a disappointment this season, and there's no real reason to think he'll start to turn it around. He hit a low last week with just one catch for eight yards and has now been held under 50 yards in three straight games.

Barnidge was a fantasy star a season ago, but he's clearly not doing the same this year. He's a low-end TE2 play, which means he's off the fantasy radar in most leagues.

CLE TE Gary Barnidge - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Baltimore
Gary Barnidge continued his disappointing season last week, catching all three of his targets for 23 yards. Barnidge's chance for success won't improve in Week 10, as the Ravens haven't been favorable to the tight end position. When he played earlier this year against Baltimore, Barnidge finished with 37 yards on four receptions.

Barnidge will be a poor tight end option this week.

CLE TE Gary Barnidge - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Dallas
Gary Barnidge hasn't been his Pro Bowl self from a year ago. He's now gone eight games without finding the end zone, and hasn't had 80 yards or more all season. He has, however, had at least 50 yards in five games, so he's somewhat consistent.

With so many high profile tight ends on bye this week, Barnidge is a pretty solid play this week against Dallas. The Cowboys have allowed big games to the position in the past, and Barnidge is good enough to have decent production. He's a low-end TE1 play.
