Dalvin Cook isn’t yet “100 percent” with his hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Cook went on to say, “I want to be as bad as everybody else wants me to be,” but it’ll take time, according to the tweet. Cook also preached patience with the Vikings run game. He didn't touch the ball in the second half of last week's game with the Rams, but with the extra time off, he could be in better condition to face the Eagles in a key NFC matchup.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook active for TNF

Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (hamstring) is active and will play tonight.

Fantasy Impact:

The Rams have yielded 5.0 yards per carry, but they have only given up an average of 19.3 carries for 96.7 rushing yards. It's a good matchup from an efficiency standpoint, but Cook may struggle to see the volume necessary to post starter-caliber numbers, especially if he's on a pitch count, which, according to Ian Rapoport, he might be.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring, questionable) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Cook looks like a game-time decision for Thursday night. If he can’t play, Latavius Murray would be a low-end RB2 given a bad matchup with the Rams (No. 1 in RB aFPA).

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) practices Tuesday

Tom Pelissero on Twitter
·
Sep 25, 2018 · 8:33 PM EDT

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) was dressed for practice and participating in the portion we were allowed to see today.

Fantasy Impact:

Pelissero said it's a good sign Cook could be ready on a short week against the Rams after not playing last week, and not practicing Monday. Even if he plays it's going to be a tough matchup.
