CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Cole Kmet found the end zone last week as he finished 5-23-1 on seven targets. Kmet has now finished with at least five receptions in six of his last seven games, averaging 47.3 yards in that span. However this week he faces a Cardinals defense that's given up the 3rd-fewest total receptions to TEs this season. The Cardinals (11th aFPA) aren't the best matchup, but Kmet should continue to be a reception-friendly tight end in Week 16. He's a top 10 option at his position this week.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Cleveland Browns

Cole Kmet had a solid outing last week, finishing 5-66 on six targets. Kmet has topped 40 receiving yards in eight of his 13 games, including five of his last six. He hasn't been a strong red zone threat, scoring in just three games this season, but he's reliable enough to give you something most weeks. However in Week 15 he'll draw a brutal matchup against the Browns (1st aFPA). Cleveland has given up the fewest total receptions and receiving yards to tight ends this year. The matchup is a real concern, but Kmet is still in the TE10-TE15 range this week.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Detroit Lions

Cole Kmet had a solid outing in Week 12, finishing 7-43. Kmet has been a good receiving threat this season as he's currently TE6 in half-PPR scoring. He's had a few duds, including a 0-catch game, but overall he's pretty consistent when it comes to catches and yards. He should be viewed as a top five option at TE heading into a Week 14 matchup vs. the Lions (20th aFPA). Kmet played the Lions just a few weeks ago and finished 3-20 on four targets.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Minnesota Vikings

Cole Kmet didn't do much last week, finishing 3-20 on four targets. Kmet had a small hot streak a few weeks ago, but appears to have cooled off now. Kmet is a fairly boom-or-bust option when it comes to his production this season. This week he faces the Vikings, who are 9th in aFPA to TEs. Kmet finished with two catches for nine yards earlier this season when he played Minnesota. He's still a low-end TE1 option this week, though, just because he offers a decent ceiling.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Detroit Lions

Cole Kmet put together another nice outing as he finished 5-45 on seven targets last week (he also ran once for one yard). After putting up a combined nine yards in Weeks 6 & 7, Kmet has strung together three games in a row with at least five receptions (21 total) for a total of 179 yards. Kmet is 5th among tight ends in receptions, 9th in receiving yards and 2nd in receiving touchdowns. Plus this week he gets Justin Fields back in the lineup at QB. Kmet draws a decent matchup vs. the Lions (21st aFPA) and he should be viewed as a top 10 option at TE in Week 11.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Carolina Panthers

Cole Kmet had his best game of the season last week as he finished 6-55-2 on eight targets. Kmet had nine yards in Week 6 and followed that up with a goose egg in Week 7, but the last two weeks he's come onto the scene with 16 total receptions for 134 yards. Kmet is a bit of a wildcard considering his up-and-down performances, but he has a high ceiling. This week he gets a tough matchup vs. the Panthers (3rd aFPA). But with the tight end landscape the way it is, Kmet can be viewed as a low-end TE1 option in Week 10.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New Orleans Saints

Cole Kmet hadn't seen a single target from Tyson Bagent in their first two games together, then out of nowhere the tight end saw a season-high 10 targets in Week 8. Kmet caught all 10 of his targets and finished with 79 yards, his second-highest yardage total in a game this season. We'll see if he can keep that momentum up, although he gets a tough matchup against the Saints in Week 9. New Orleans is 10th in aFPA to TEs this season, and have given up the 3rd-fewest total receptions to the position so far. Still, with the tight end landscape the way it is (plus bye weeks), Kmet is still a decent low-end TE1 option this week.
