CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Kansas City
C.J. Uzomah got in on the Bengals pass party last week as well with a season-high seven targets and five receptions. He ended up the day with 36 yards which is the norm, but definitely helped anyone who played him in PPR leagues.

Uzomah faces KC who is ranked 6th in aFPA to tight ends. As usual, Uzomah is the fifth option in the passing game so expect the numbers to reflect that. Keep him on the bench as he is only a TE2 for Week 17.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Baltimore
C.J. Uzomah had three catches for 18 yards last week which has been the norm for him most of the season. He does have an occasion where he puts up TE1 numbers, but the issue is the Bengals have too many weapons in the passing game.

The Ravens are ranked 21st in aFPA to tight ends. In the first meeting, Uzomah had three receptions for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns against Baltimore. We don't think that will repeat. Keep Uzomah on the bench for Week 16 as a TE2.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. San Francisco
C.J. Uzomah's numbers continue to be low. Last week, he caught three passes for 20 yards and that was the first time in three weeks he was in double digits for receiving yards. There are too many other weapons in the Bengals passing game to expect consistency from Uzomah. Keep him on the bench for Week 14 as he ranks as a low-end TE2.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
C.J. Uzomah has five catches for 18 yards over the past two games which isn't surprising considering the Bengals have focused on running the football and their receivers are an elite unit that gets most of the passes.

No reason to play Uzomah this week despite a decent matchup against the Chargers who are ranked 28th in aFPA to tight ends. Just not enough balls to go around.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh
C.J. Uzomah had two receptions for 9 yards last week. His stock drops when all three of the wide receivers are playing which was the case last game and this game as well.

Uzomah faces the Steelers who are ranked 16th in aFPA to tight ends. In the first meeting with Pittsburgh, Uzomah had zero catches.

Keep Uzomah on the bench for week 12 as he is ranked a low-end TE2.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Cleveland

C.J. Uzomah has been pretty consistent with his targets in 2021. You can expect 3-4 per game. Last week he had four which produced four receptions for 33 yards. Where his hidden value has been is scoring touchdowns. And of course, that is hit or miss.

Uzomah faces the Browns who are ranked 12th in aFPA to tight ends. If you need a tight end because of the bye week or injury, he ranks a high-end TE2 for Week 9. Play him and hope for a touchdown and it will be worth the start.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New York Jets
C.J. Uzomah had a huge and unexpected day last Sunday with three catches for 91 yards. But two of those receptions were for touchdowns. He now has five touchdowns this season which has put him on the fantasy map.

Uzomah has a favorable matchup against the Jets who are ranked 20th in aFPA to tight ends. However, the issue is there are three wide receivers and a good receiving running back that ended up getting most of the balls (see 3 targets last week).

Keep Uzomah on the bench as he provides good depth but he should not be in your lineup for Week 8.
