HOU RB Carlos Hyde - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Even though the Houston offense was stymied in Baltimore last Sunday, Carlos Hyde broke free for a 41-yard fourth-quarter TD run, finishing with 65 yards in the loss. In the October contest against the Colts, he was held to 35 yards on 12 carries and may have another tough outing on Thursday as Indy owns the No. 9 defense against the run. Consider him an RB3/flex play.

HOU RB Carlos Hyde - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 –Carlos Hyde at Baltimore Ravens
Two weeks ago, against the Jags in London, Carlos Hyde showed he still has plenty left in the tank. He rumbled for a season-high 160 yards on 19 carries, with the only negative on the day being his fumble inside the five after a 58-yard run, which cost owners a TD. On the road at Baltimore Hyde will be facing the league’s seventh-best defense at stopping the run. Consider him an RB2 option.

HOU RB Carlos Hyde - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
It was a methodical day on the ground last week for Carlos Hyde, rumbling for 83 yards on 19 carries in the comeback win versus the Raiders. It was the fourth time he’s rushed for more than 80 yards this season, but he’s been fairly consistent, averaging 68 yards per contest. Jacksonville has an average run defense, so Hyde continues to be an RB2 play, in London.

HOU RB Carlos Hyde - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Oakland Raiders
The Colts bottled up Carlos Hyde last Sunday, holding him to just 35 yards on 12 rushes. After running for over 100 yards the previous week, Hyde’s yardage was the second lowest he’s posted this season. He’s averaging 66 yards on the ground per contest, with three TDs. Partly due to their pass defense being so bad, the Raiders have the No. 5 rush defense. Hyde should be used as an RB2 play back at NRG Stadium.

HOU RB Carlos Hyde - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Indianapolis Colts
Playing against a bad Chiefs run defense last week, Carlos Hyde recorded a season-high 116 yards on 26 rushes and scored his third TD of ‘19. He has been in the end zone two straight contests and is averaging 72 yards on the ground with Houston. The only frustration Hyde owners may have lately is that Deshaun Watson has three rushing scores himself the past two outings. On Sunday Hyde will be going against a Colts run defense that is No. 19, so he remains an RB2 play.

HOU RB Carlos Hyde - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Kansas City Chiefs
Even though it was Deshaun Watson with the huge day for the Texans last Sunday, Carlos Hyde turned in a decent fantasy game, rushing for 60 yards and his second TD of the season. Hyde continues to receive the bulk of the carries for Houston, finishing with a season-high 21 compared to Duke Johnson’s nine last week. Kansas City has the third-worst defense at stopping the run, making Hyde an RB2 play.

HOU RB Carlos Hyde - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Atlanta Falcons
In the low-scoring affair versus Carolina last week, Carlos Hyde led the Texans with 12 rushes for 58 yards. He also caught four passes but for only six yards. Hyde continues to be the featured back and should be in line for a solid outing against a Falcons run defense that allows 110 yards per game. He should be used as an RB2 start.
