WAS RB Brian Robinson - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Miami Dolphins

Brian Robinson struggled to find much running room much last week, rushing 15 times for 53 yards. He also caught two passes for 11 yards. It was a decent game considering the tough matchup against the Cowboys. Things don't get much easier this week, though, as Robinson gets another tough matchup, this time against the Dolphins (fourth in aFPA). In the last three games, Miami has given up a total of 135 rush yards and 0 rushing TDs to running backs. Considering the tough matchup, Robinson should be viewed as a low-end RB2 or RB3 option for Week 13.

WAS RB Brian Robinson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Dallas Cowboys

With Antonio Gibson out last week, Brian Robinson played a season-high 78% of the offensive snaps. He saw a lot of volume, carrying the ball 17 times for 73 yards while catching seven passes for 58 yards on nine targets. Washington has a short turnaround to play the Cowboys (13th aFPA) on Thursday, so it seems likely Gibson (toe) will be out again. If that's the case, expect another heavy workload for Robinson, although it's an ideal matchup. Robinson may not have a strong yards per touch this week, but he'll likely see enough volume to be a strong start. He should be viewed as a solid RB2 option in Week 12.

WAS RB Brian Robinson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Giants

Brian Robinson ran just eight times for 38 yards last week. But he had a monster game as a receiver, catching six passes for 119 yards and a touchdown. Robinson has now scored a touchdown in four of his last five games, and has eight total scores on the season. He's been very impressive, working his way up to RB4 in half-PPR scoring. Who knew he'd be the more productive B. Robinson this year? Robinson should continue to produce in Week 11 against the Giants (21st aFPA). Although he did struggle against them earlier in the year with 23 yards on eight carries and no catches. Robinson could see more work this week, though, as Antonio Gibson is dealing with a toe injury. Even if Gibson is active, Robinson should be viewed as a solid RB1 option in Week 11.

WAS RB Brian Robinson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Seattle Seahawks

The Commanders were in a close game for once, which meant Brian Robinson went back to getting a high volume of touches last week. Robinson finished with 18 carries for 63 yards and a touchdown along with one catch for four yards. Robinson should be in line for another productive outing this week as he faces the Seahawks, who are 25th in aFPA to RBs this season. The Seahawks have given up the 4th-most rush touchdowns to running backs this year. Robinson should be viewed as a low-end RB2 or a strong RB3/flex in Week 10.

WAS RB Brian Robinson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New England Patriots

Washington ended up with 52 pass attempts last week, so Brian Robinson didn't see too much volume. But he made the most of his 10 carries by finishing with 59 yards. He also caught two passes for 20 yards. Robinson isn't quite seeing the usage this year that he saw as a rookie. In the 10 games last season where Robinson played at least 30% of the offensive snaps, he averaged 18.8 rush attempts per game. This season he's dropped to 11.9 rush attempts. This week he faces the Patriots (9th aFPA) where we'd expect somewhat more of the same. He should be viewed as a low-end RB2 option in Week 9.

WAS RB Brian Robinson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Despite a favorable matchup last week against the Giants, Brian Robinson barely saw any touches as he ran just eight times, finishing with 23 yards and a touchdown. One of the positives about Robinson heading into the season was that he was expected to see a lot of volume. But in the past three weeks, Robinson's seen just 24 total carries. Robinson's struggles could continue this week as he gets a brutal matchup against the Eagles who are 1st in aFPA to RBs. Although when Robinson played Philly in Week 4 it wasn't too bad as he finished with 51 total yards and a touchdown. Robinson should be viewed as an RB3/flex option in Week 8.

WAS RB Brian Robinson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at New York Giants

Brian Robinson ran 10 times for 31 yards last week while also catching two passes for 25 yards with a touchdown. Robinson has now scored in four of his six games so far this season. Robinson has been a fairly safe option each week outside of Week 5 when the game script ran out of his favor. He's currently RB13 in half-PPR scoring, which is out-pacing his ADP. This week he gets a good matchup against the Giants who are 12th in aFPA to RBs. The aFPA doesn't seem too promising, but the Giants have also given up the third-most rush yards to running backs this season. Robinson should be fine, and can be viewed as a low-end RB1 option for Week 7.
