Scouting report

PHI RB Boston Scott - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Washington
Boston Scott had 12 carries for 41 yards and a rushing touchdown last week. He got carries because Miles Sanders injured his hand and will be out this week as well. Scott will pick up Sanders touches and split time with Jordan Howard.

Washington has had a good run defense ranked 6th in aFPA to running backs. Scott was banged up for the first meeting with the WFT so he didn't get any touches.

Keep Scott on the bench for Week 17 as he will get carries and some pass targets but not enough to help your team this week as he splits time with Howard.

PHI RB Boston Scott - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New York Jets
Boston Scott had a team-high 15 carries and 17 touches last week with Miles Sanders nursing a bad ankle. He ended up with 72 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. He would be a good play this week if he hadn't missed two practices with an illness.

Whoever gets carries for the Eagles should have some success as the Jets are ranked 32nd in aFPA to running backs.

Start Boston as a high-end RB3 or flex, but watch his status as well as Sanders and Jordan Howard to see who is healthy and who will get playing time

PHI RB Boston Scott - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at New York Giants
Boston Scott has been getting double-digit touches in recent weeks, but those were cut back last game with Miles Sanders return. We expect Scott to still be involved in the passing game, but his touches won't be high enough to warrant a fantasy start.

Keep Boston on the bench, even in PPR leagues for Week 12.

PHI RB Boston Scott - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New Orleans
Boston Scott has been getting touches with 35 over the past three weeks. He has been splitting time with Jordan Howard although his numbers haven't been as good. Miles Sanders should be back soon which will relegate Scott back on the depth chart.

Scott has a tough matchup against New Orleans and that will limit his fantasy production for Week 11. Keep Scott on the bench.

PHI RB Boston Scott - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Denver
Boston Scott had 10 carries for 40 yards so he was involved in the offense although he was second in line behind Jordan Howard.

Scott has a tough matchup against Broncos and who knows how the Eagles are going to use their backs this week.

Keep Scott on the bench for Week 10.

PHI RB Boston Scott - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Boston Scott is now the featured back with Miles Sanders and Kenneth Gainwell on the shelf. Scott carried the ball 12 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns and ended up being a sneaky start last Sunday. He is a good short-term pick up for Week 9 and should have 12-15 touches.

The Eagles face the Chargers who are ranked 23rd in aFPA to running backs. We like the favorable matchup and Scott's potential usage to rank him a high-end RB3 or flex this Sunday. He would be a good fill-in for a bye week or injured player.

PHI RB Boston Scott - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Dallas
With Miles Sanders out, Boston Scott stepped in and received Sanders' touches and put up a good fantasy outing last week. Scott ended up with 15 touches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Scott is definitely a capable back and until Sanders returns, his fantasy stock is high.

The Eagles face the Cowboys who are ranked 26th in aFPA to running backs. Dallas is a mess right now and the Philly offense looked good the last two weeks even with QB Carson Wentz still having turnover issues.

Start Scott as a low-end RB1 in both standard and PPR leagues. He did some damage in the passing game which isn't surprising considering the Eagles M.O. is throwing to running backs and tight ends. We expect at least the 15 touches again and even better results from Scott.
