Bengals QB Joe Burrow won’t be activated from injured reserve Saturday, ruling him out for Sunday’s game against the Patriots.
Burrow did get a full week of practice in, his first practices since his Week 3 injury. There’s a chance he’ll be active and start on Thanksgiving against the Ravens. It’ll be one more start for Joe Flacco, a start in which he will not have Ja’Marr Chase, who is serving a one-game suspension for spitting on Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey last week.

BREAKING: Brandon Aiyuk’s 2026 guarantees were voided by the 49ers, sources tell me and @DMRussini.
Now, 15 months after signing a four-year extension worth $120 million, the two sides appear headed toward a stunning divorce.
Russini/Silver followed this up by saying, "It’s now likely that he has played his last game with the franchise, according to numerous sources briefed on the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive situation. Some in the organization are holding out hope that the relationship can be salvaged enough for him to return this season. However, multiple sources believe that a reconciliation is unlikely."
This is miserable news for those of us who have been stashing Aiyuk away on IR slots all season long, and it looks like he is fine to drop.

Great news for fantasy managers, but we'd try to wait on starting him for another week, wherever possible. He could potentially be on a type of "snap count", which would keep him closer to the WR3/4 fringe than his typical WR2 role. He should be a much better Flex play moving forward.
