While saying the starting QB job is now John Skelton's to lose, Adam Schefter adds the Cardinals may not be done looking for a signal caller.
"It doesn't stop Arizona from continuing to look around the league to see if any other quarterbacks are available before the final roster cuts either through trade or on waivers," he said of Skelton presumably getting the nod. "But for the time being it looks like Skelton has that job in his sights."

He caught 38 passes for 658 yards and two touchdowns in the eight games where Kevin Kolb threw the most passes. Skelton targeted Fitzgerald 11.0 times per game. Kolb targeted Fitzgerald 8.1 times per game. Over the course of the season, Fitzgerald scored 43% more fantasy points with Skelton under center.
