Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan’s holdout...

Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan’s holdout is apparently over, but the drama surrounding his unexcused absence has just begin.

Finnegan said Sunday on Twitter he didn’t leave the team because of a contract dispute. Instead, he said, it was a personal matter and he plans to be back on the practice field on Monday. The Titans are off today.

"My absence had nothing to do with a holdout yet a personal matter that Titan officials were aware of. I am grateful for being a Titan," Finnegan said on Twitter. "I am also thankful for my current contract and direction of team. It's obvious media had no idea of why my absence took place."
