Line coach Tom Cable made it clear in his comments that he is planning to use both Zach Miller and John Carlson.

"We now have two fantastic tight ends," Cable said. "They're going to complement each other the right way."

Cable said that Miller (66 catches last season) "is a fine, fine player and a better person than he is a player." He said that Miller and Carlson are "like two peas in a pod."

He touted Miller as a complete player who can block at the point of attack, can be put in motion or split wide and also used as an "H" back.

Fantasy Impact:

If this is true and Carlson is not traded like some speculated, it will certainly hurt Miller's value. As stated before, we currently have Miller ranked around number-10 for tight ends, but he's sure to drop a few spots to a TE2 after the trade.
