The return of Colts safety Bob Sanders has been an off-season storyline, and if anyone forgot why his status always is a major issue, they were reminded on Thursday night. Sanders finished the night with five tackles and a forced fumble, but it wasn't as much his tackle numbers as the dynamic nature of his play that stood out. The 2007 NFL Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year had a stretch midway through the first half on which he not only made three direction-changing tackles, but also forced a fumble. Yes, it was still preseason, but Sanders showed the energy, speed and aggressiveness that made him one of the Colts' most important defensive players of the last half-decade. That's a more positive sign than many expected entering the preseason, and more and more, Sanders is showing he could have a huge impact this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Sanders remains a very risky IDP pick due to his injury history.
