Freeman did not practice this week with an ankle injury. Wayne Gallman will likely get the start Monday against a very tough Buccaneers defense (No. 2 vs RBs in our schedule-adjusted matchup rankings). Gallman is currently our No. 37 RB for the week.
With Zach Ertz and DeSean Jackson among the players banged up for the Eagles, this is good timing for their offense as they get one of their big targets over the middle and their rookie speedster back for a huge division battle Sunday night for first place in the NFC East. TE Hakeem Butler was waived.
Pittman was placed on IR October 3 with a calf injury. He’s expected back in the lineup Sunday against the Lions after recording nine catches for 73 yards in his first three games. Daurice Fountain was waived in a corresponding move.
