It's not a surprise, but the Rams are expected to formally announce rookie Sam Bradford will be the team's starting quarterback in week one.

ESPN’s Jaguars beat writer Michael DiRocco believes Parker Washington has been the favorite target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence thus far in training camp.
DiRocco notes Washington has consistently beaten the Jaguars’ top cornerbacks in 1-on-1 drills and believes he has established himself as the No. 1 wide receiver in Jacksonville. That sound you hear is the Parker Washington train beginning to take off. His value is continuing to grow and he may not be as much of a sleeper anymore as more and more people catch on to his potential. Washington had three 100-yard games in the last four weeks of the season, including the playoff loss to the Bills.

Commanders QB Marcus Mariota will miss the remainder of the preseason with a sprained MCL.
With Mariota out, it leaves 2024 undrafted free agent Sam Hartman and 2026 7th-round pick Athan Kaliakmanis behind starter Jayden Daniels. It’s the latest injury to the Commanders’ offense, following the loss of left tackle Laremy Tunsil. Washington could be in the market for a veteran backup for the time being, at least until Mariota returns, as they try to protect Daniels and keep him as healthy as possible.
Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love will miss at least this week, including Arizona’s upcoming preseason game against the Cowboys, with a sore ankle.
The Cardinals will reevaluate Love after a week. He suffered the injury during Thursday’s preseason game against the Raiders and he will miss next week’s game against the Cowboys. Love rushed 11 times for 58 yards before exiting the game. The Cardinals would be wise to be cautious with their No. 3 overall pick and a running back who is guaranteed $53 million, more than the three top running backs who just signed new deals in Jahmyr Gibbs ($51.5 million), Bijan Robinson ($51.5 million) and Jonathan Taylor ($39 million).
