NFL still planning to hold Patriots-Broncos game despite Patriots shutdown

The NFL is still planning to play Monday’s game between the Patriots and the Broncos, despite the league shutting down the Patriots facility after another positive test for COVID-19 for New England.

Schefter says the league is doing more testing for the Patriots and hopes to have more answers later today regarding the status of tomorrow’s game. This is now the fourth positive test in eight days for New England, which of course started with quarterback Cam Newton. It may be wise to start pulling your Patriots and Broncos out of your lineup or at least have an emergency option.
