More on Devin Hester

Devin Hester's absence from the sideline in the second half with a shoulder injury caused some concern. Hester suffered the injury with 11 minutes, 55 seconds left in the second quarter. After catching a 2-yard pass on second-and-goal from the 4, Hester got crunched by Lions cornerback William James and safety Louis Delmas. He did not return. "Obviously, (we're) concerned," offensive coordinator Ron Turner said. "It's bad enough for him to leave the game. And I don't know exactly what it is, but it sounds like he's going to be OK." The NFL Network reported Hester had a stiff neck and would be fine for the Bears' next game Oct. 18. Bears officials maintained it was a shoulder injury. Rashied Davis saw more time at receiver with Hester out.
