Bears head coach Matt Nagy will not publicly announce who will start at quarterback between Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky before Week 1.

In all likelihood, the decision will leak before the Bears are set to take on the Lions on September 13. The “battle” has been ongoing in Chicago but either way, it’s looking like tough sledding for the Bears offense. Allen Robinson will still star regardless of whoever is behind center. But still looking like a long year in the Windy City.

For a second straight day today, Bengals QB Joe Burrow has been taking snaps with Cincinnati’s starting offense, preparing him for the possibility that he could play Sunday vs. New England.

This would be a very early return for Burrow, particularly when we consider that the team is 3-7 at the moment. If he were to somehow make a miraculous return in Week 12, he would actually be in a good spot against the Patriots' 25th-ranked defense according to QB aFPA, but he'd also be without Ja'Marr Chase, who is serving a one-game suspension. We'll keep an eye on the situation, but things are certainly pointing toward a return.

Mixon likely remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list through the season. Meanwhile, Houston moves forward with Nick Chubb and Woody Marks.

Fantasy Impact:

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering we haven't heard a peep about him in months. As such, this doesn't impact Marks and Chubb's ROS outlook. We'll have to see how this impacts Mixon's 2026 availability.
