The tweet added the Jets were just being cautious with their wideout, and that he's ready to go for Week 1. He'll have a tough matchup against a good Bills secondary in Week 1 so maybe temper expectations a bit.

Browns plan to sign free agent running back Royce Freeman to the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.

Packers place RB MarShawn Lloyd on IR

Packers are placing rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lloyd dealt with a hamstring injury leading up to the season and has now injured his ankle enough to be placed on IR, and he'll miss the next four games. The team did sign Brooks from their practice squad but Wilson looks to be the backup to Jacobs.
