Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo talked last week of teaching conceptually. He said the Giants receivers don't learn positions, they master concepts, which allows them to move seamlessly around the field.
With Victor Cruz now out, if Odell Beckham is able to move inside, the Giants can use Preston Parker or rookie Corey Washington on the outside. Parker performed admirably as a wide receiver (11 catches for 158 yards) in the first five games. Washington made the team with an especially strong preseason.
The Giants need a third wide receiver to step into their lineup. They've used at least three receivers on 73 percent of first-and-10s this season in their new offense. Three wide receivers is their base offensive formation.

Parker looks like a guy who will start to see more time as well and has deeper league potential for the moment. Washington was a preseason stud but hasn't had much work since making the team out of camp.
