Al Davis plans to keep meeting with Cable

Coach Tom Cable was not part of the interview process Wednesday when Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach Hue Jackson met with managing general partner Al Davis about joining the team in some capacity.

Cable remains in the Raiders plans for the foreseeable future, and Davis intends to keep meeting with him to see how he fits for the 2010 season, senior executive John Herrera said. Davis and Cable still have plenty to discuss before Davis decides how to proceed, Herrera added.

Meanwhile, the agent for Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh denied that his client had contact with the Raiders about their head coaching job.
