Week 16 vs. Jacksonville
Injuries have decimated the Jets receiving corp which has made Jamison Crowder the best option in the passing game. Last week, he had five catches for 40 yards. With Jets rookie QB Zach Wilson struggling, there is not much value in any of the players associated with the passing game. Keep Crowder on the bench for Week 16.
Week 15 at Miami
With Corey Davis out for the season and Elijah Moore out again this week, Jamison Crowder becomes the No. 1 receiving target for the Jets. Crowder had three catches for 19 yards in that role.
The Dolphins are one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL ranked 31st in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with a favorable matchup, we don't expect much from the Jets passing game and Crowder. Keep him on the bench for Week 15.
Week 14 vs. New Orleans
Jamison Crowder should get more looks moving forward with Corey Davis out. Last week, Crowder had four catches for 62 yards. He should be especially valuable in PPR leagues as a safe option for rookie QB Zach Wilson.
Crowder has a very good matchup this Sunday against the Saints who are ranked 27th in aFPA to wide receivers. He has always been a good possession receiver and will be very noticeable in the passing game for the Jets. However, the New York offense still has plenty of question marks, and even with a favorable matchup, keep Crowder on the bench.
Week 12 at Houston
Jamison Crowder scored a touchdown this week and although he remains a factor, especially in PPR leagues, this week we don't see him doing enough to warrant a spot in your starting lineup. Keep Crowder on the bench for Week 12.
Week 11 vs. Miami
Jamison Crowder had five targets for three catches and 20 receiving yards. It was actually one of Crowder's more quiet games over the past month. He still remains a viable slot receiver for New York and with veteran QB Joe Flacco starting on Sunday, he could benefit from his presence.
Miami is ranked 25th in aFPA to wide receivers so a favorable matchup for the Jets receivers. However, not enough to get Crowder into your starting lineup. Keep him on the bench for Week 11.
Week 10 vs. Buffalo
Jamison Crowder continues to get targets just like last year and he actually has more value than the other Jets receivers in PPR leagues because of the catches he gets each week.
However, keep him on the bench for Week 10 as Buffalo is the top-ranked team in aFPA to wide receivers this season. The Jets' passing game should be limited.
Week 9 vs. Indianapolis
With Corey Davis out, Jamison Crowder becomes the de facto No. 1 receiver and he had his best game of the season last week in that role. Crowder is always a target machine but he was able to bring in eight catches for 84 yards, all season highs.
Jets face the Colts on Thursday and have a decent matchup as Indy is ranked 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. New York played well last week with backup QB Mike White but there are still some questions if he can repeat that performance. With the quick turnaround, keep Crowder on the bench for Week 9.
Week 7 at New England
Jamison Crowder was the most valuable fantasy receiver last season but has taken a backseat to Corey Davis. After missing the first three games, Crowder has 15 targets which have created 11 receptions for 85 yards a touchdown.
Crowder missed the first meeting against New England and did not have much success last season against them. Patriots are ranked 17th in aFPA to wide receivers.
Crowder shouldn't be in your lineup for Week 7 but if he on the waiver wire, this would be a very good pickup for depth.
Week 17 at New England
Jamison Crowder's usage seems to have crept back up close to where he was at the beginning of the season. He had nine targets which produced seven receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown. It was his highest receiving yard total since Week 5.
Crowder will face the Patriots who are ranked 5th in aFPA to wide receivers. There is little doubt that he is QB Sam Darnold's favorite target in the passing game. In the first meeting with the Pats, Crowder was held to two receptions for 26 yards, but he did have a touchdown.
Start Crowder as a high-end WR3 or flex in all leagues and formats. We should see him have similar numbers to what he had the last couple of games.
Week 16 vs. Cleveland
Jamison Crowder has been quiet over recent weeks because he hasn't been healthy and the Jets offense has had bad outings. He is still the best option on New York's receiving corps as he had six catches for 66 yards, his best fantasy outing since mid-October. Remember, Crowder started the season with four straight games with double-digit targets, but hasn't had one since.
Crowder will face the Browns who are 15th in aFPA to wide receivers. Cleveland has given up some big numbers in the passing game in recent weeks. So, Crowder could have a decent game.
Start Crowder in PPR leagues as a WR3 or flex, but keep him on the bench in standard leagues for Week 16. He still will the No 1 target for QB Sam Darnold. and that volume will help him.
