Njoku was placed on injured reserve last week and must miss a minimum of eight games. But not having surgery increases his chance of returning this season. With Njoku out, Harris caught a two-yard TD pass that put the Browns up 13-10 in the third quarter.
Njoku was already expected to miss at least a month and the Browns have their bye in Week 8. The Browns have decided to place Njoku on injured reserve, meaning he will now miss at least eight weeks. Demetrius Harris is currently the starter for the Browns so expect the Browns to make a move to upgrade the position.

Browns TE David Njoku (concussion, wrist) missed practice again Thursday. Njoku is likely out this week. Demetrius Harris probably plays the most TE snaps for the Browns in his absence.
