TB WR Chris Godwin - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New Orleans Saints

Chris Godwin finished 6-74 on 12 targets last week. He hasn't caught a touchdown since Week 5, but Godwin has remained productive. He also has an incredibly high ceiling, making him a player you want in your lineup on a weekly basis. This week he faces the Saints, a team he finished 7-125-2 against earlier this year. Don't expect quite that big of a game, but knowing that potential is there makes him an easy WR1 play in Week 11.

TB WR Chris Godwin - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Chris Godwin hasn't had a monster game in a while, but he hasn't exactly disappeared. He still finished with a solid 7-61 on nine targets last week. Godwin has four 100+ yard games in 2019, and should still be viewed as a top-tier fantasy option. He has a good chance at a big game this week against Arizona as two bad pass defenses face each other in what could be a high-scoring game. More points equals more targets, making Godwin a must-start WR1 in Week 10.

TB WR Chris Godwin - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Seattle Seahawks

After three straight 100-yard games, Chris Godwin finally snapped back to reality with a 4-43 game last week. It was his second-worst game of the season, and it wasn't even that bad of a performance. He should continue to be viewed as a great option in fantasy as he gets a decent matchup against the Seahawks this week. He should be viewed as a must-start WR1 choice in Week 9.

TB WR Chris Godwin - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Tennessee Titans

Chris Godwin finished with 10 receptions for 151 yards the last time Tampa Bay played as he continues his dominant season. He's finished with 100 or more receiving yards in three straight games while catching four touchdowns in that span. He's averaging over nine targets per game as well. He gets a tough matchup this week against a Titans defense that's allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to receivers. But Godwin has been too good to think about benching him. He should remain a strong WR1 play heading into Week 8.

TB WR Chris Godwin - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Carolina Panthers

As 4for4's George Kritikos noted, Chris Godwin’s 72.7 PPR points the last two weeks would rank 20th as a wide receiver for the 2019 season. Mike Evans has 78.8 points for 2019. Godwin has been incredible for Tampa Bay this year, and has been the team's only productive receiver for many games. In fact, in Week 5 he accounted for 61% of Jameis Winston's passing yards, and caught both of his touchdown passes. This week he faces a Panthers team he shredded earlier in the year (8-121-1). We see no reason for an obvious slowdown. Trust Godwin as a WR2 in Week 6.

TB WR Chris Godwin - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at New Orleans Saints

Before the season started, coach Bruce Arians said Chris Godwin was going to a 100-reception receiver this year. It seemed like a lofty goal, but Godwin is currently on pace for that after a strong Week 4 where he finished 12-172-2. He's lived up to the hype so far this season, catching a touchdown in all but one game. And dating back to last season he now has 100+ receiving yards in three of his last five games. His high production should continue this week in a favorable matchup against the Saints. New Orleans is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to receivers in 2019. Trust Godwin as a strong WR1.

TB WR Chris Godwin - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Los Angeles Rams

Chris Godwin took a backseat in Week 3 as Mike Evans put on a show. Godwin finished 3-40 on four targets. He also didn't score for the first time all season. He's also currently dealing with a hip injury and missed practice both Wednesday and Thursday, so his health is something worth monitoring leading up to this week's game against the Rams. Even if he does play, this will be a tough matchup as L.A. is allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to receivers. We like him as a strong WR2 if he does play.
