Hurricane Irene has been downgraded, but the big news blowing through the NovaCare Complex was the return of Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers Jeremy Maclin and Steve Smith.
Both practiced for the first time since the start of training camp. Maclin has been out with a virus, but had been cleared of any serious illness last week.
Smith had microfracture knee surgery in December and has been conditioning with the Eagles since he was signed as a free agent a few weeks back.
A good sign for both players and the entire Philadelphia offense. Maclin has the look of a potential draft day steal as he's been sliding in drafts.
