Harvin misses practice with migraines

Vikings rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin missed a second consecutive day of practice Thursday because of a recurrence of migraine headaches that have plagued him since he was a kid.

Coach Brad Childress said Harvin saw a doctor on Thursday and then went home. Harvin dealt with migraines before the Vikings' victory over San Francisco in Week 3, missing two days of practice that week. He returned, however, and caught four passes for 51 yards and returned a kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown.

Harvin, who missed the NFL's rookie symposium last June because of an illness, was added to the Vikings' injury report the day before they played the Chicago Bears on Nov. 29 because of another illness. Harvin has not missed a game this season.
