Brett Favre still isn't ready to decide on playing for the Minnesota Vikings, ESPN reported today, citing the quarterback's agent.
ESPN's Rachel Nichols reported that she had spoken to agent Bus Cook, after Cook had spoken at length to Favre this morning, and Cook said a decision might come at the beginning or middle of next week.
"He (Favre) just doesn't feel ready yet," Nichols reported, recounting her conversation with Cook. "There are some things he's still considering."
Last week, Favre told the Associated Press that he would decide by July 30, the deadline for Vikings players to report to training camp.
Nichols reported that Favre's friends and family had hoped he would decide today. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
