Chiefs Beat: Nothing to fear if Nick Foles starts at QB

If the Chiefs have to go with Nick Foles against the Jaguars or any time later in the season, there’s nothing for them to fear. Not only was the transition to Foles seamless, but he outplayed Smith, who was 9-of-19 for 127 yards and one touchdown.

"I don’t think anybody blinked an eye," said wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who played with Foles for a time with the Eagles. "He is a guy that everyone knows likes to throw the ball down the field."

Fantasy Impact: 

The Chiefs cut nothing from their game plan when Foles entered the game. They didn’t have to. Foles joined the Chiefs during training camp but had a head start on learning the offense because of his one season playing for Reid with the Eagles as a rookie in 2012.
