IDP Waiver Wire: Week 11 Pickups and Matchup Plays
We are heading towards the final weeks of the fantasy football regular season. I'm hoping you are in the playoff hunt, so let's make that final push. Browns LB Jamie Collins was the big name this week that got derailed by the injury bug, as he'll be out the remainder of the season. The good news is that the bye weeks are almost over, so we'll take a look at whom to target from the wire. Then I'll go over some favorable IDP matchups we can exploit this week.
Week 11 Byes: Carolina, San Francisco, New York Jets, and Indianapolis.
Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Pickups
Adrian Clayborn, DE, Atlanta Falcons (42 snaps/67%)
When someone produces 6 sacks in a game, it's hard not to take notice. Obviously, we can't expect another 6-sack outburst like last week from Clayborn, however, he's still a capable pass rusher and was generating a 13% pressure rate leading up to Week 10. He has two favorable matchups against the Bucs and is worth adding in big-play scoring formats.
Leonard Williams, DE, New York Jets (50 snaps/70%)
Williams has produced double-digit fantasy points in consecutive weeks. In that span, he's also recorded his first sacks of the season. The Jets are on bye this week, so it's a good week to scoop him up for the second half of the season. I'm eyeing the matchups between Kansas City and Denver.
Stephon Tuitt, DE, Pittsburgh Steelers (48 snaps/81%)
Tuitt has battled injuries this season, however, he made an impactful return this past week. Against the Colts, he notched 3 tackles for a loss and a sack. Tuitt has a tougher matchup with the Titans' O-Line this week, but he does have some favorable matchups down the stretch run of the season.
