Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets (Fantasy Football 2023)

Week 11 is upon us, but Week 10 certainly left its trail of carnage with two more huge LB injuries (Kwon Alexander and Jordan Hicks). Not only that, another four teams are on bye this week; Atlanta, Indianapolis, New England, and New Orleans.

Notable IDPs on bye: Kaden Elliss, Nathan Landman, Richie Grant, Dayo Odeyingbo, DeForest Buckner, Zaire Franklin, Kenny Moore, Ju'Whaun Bentley, Kyle Dugger, Demario Davis, Pete Werner, Cameron Jordan

More Week 11 Waiver Wire Targets (NON-IDP)

Without further adieu, it's time to take a look at who you should target off IDP waiver wires in Week 11.

Linebacker

Elandon Roberts, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers

I wrote about Roberts last week, but he deserves a mention again this week as Kwon Alexander suffered a season-ending Achilles’ injury.

Once Alexander left, Roberts took over the dot and was on the field for 96% of the snaps, resulting in 65 snaps. For a part-time player, he’s been productive, but I’m expecting his numbers to normalize with more consistent snaps.

I don’t expect him to maintain a 19% tackle rate, however, but I do expect him to settle in around the 12-13% tackle rate he had in Week 10. He’s grading out as one of Pittsburgh’s 10 best defenders, although coverage has been a liability, he’s been better as of late allowing just 19 yards after the catch in his last four games.

Roberts has always been a solid run-stopper. Here, he recognizes the run to Aaron Jones and runs through two blockers to get the tackle for loss (TFL):

Roberts is averaging 0.33 points per snap and has a three-down role heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
