NBA Player Prop Bets (March 9th, 2023)

The all-star break can change plenty that most thought they knew before it occurred. Teams can take a look at themselves and change their intentions of how to play or their goal for the rest of the season, and players' rhythm is thrown off, and their performance changes. That is the focus of today’s props.

Check out all the tools 4for4 has to aid in your daily prep. The Player Prop Tool will show projected value on listed props, and you can customize the search to your liking, the Stat Explorer shows a specific stat for a player and how it compares to that night’s line and even allows you to customize the time frame you are looking at, and the Player Prop Finder shows what the line is at for all of a player’s props at all the primary books. Do not forget the Player Prop Odds Table and Player Splits Tool as well, and make sure to get involved in the Discord, where staff and subscribers talk through their favorite plays. Let’s make it a profitable Thursday.

Today’s NBA Player Prop Bets (March 9, 2023)

Tyrese Haliburton Over 22.5 Points (+100 at DraftKings)

A theme as of late has been picking on capable PGs against the Rockets, and Tyrese Haliburton certainly fits that bill.

Indiana is hosting Houston, who has allowed the most points to PGs all year long and is catching Haliburton in the middle of a hot streak and with an extra day of rest. Since the all-star break, Haliburton is averaging 27.6 points and is shooting a lights-out 48.6% from beyond the arc, where the Rockets are also the most porous to PGs in the NBA.

The aggression of Haliburton since the break is key to the floor being so high on this prop as well because Haliburton has taken 16 or more shots in the last three games, and on the year when he gets that many attempts, he is 16-7 to the over on this prop. The scouting report should have Haliburton ready to attack at will, especially with Kevin Porter Jr. out. With the added aggression and 2.7 more drives per game since the break, the free throws have become a bigger factor for Haliburton as well. Haliburton had five or more shots from the line in nine of 40 games before missing time, but since he returned, he has hit that threshold in six of 13.

Risk: 1 unit on DraftKings to win 1 unit. (Playable to -120)
