Week 7 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets

The first of many bye weeks is down. We had a few defenders return to the field and put up some big numbers. Alex Singleton, mentioned last week, called "Blackjack" against the Chargers and recorded 21 tackles. There's a big injury to keep an eye on, as Logan Wilson suffered a shoulder injury and he's being called week-to-week.

Four more teams are on bye this week; Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Notable IDPs on bye in Week 7: Tremaine Edmunds, Von Miller, Gregory Rousseau, Jordan Poyer, Bobby Wagner, Aaron Donald, Eric Kendricks, Jordan Hicks, Za'Darius Smith, Harrison Smith, Danielle Hunter, Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, Brandon Graham, TJ Edwards, Kyzir White.

Linebacker

Quincy Williams, LB, New York Jets

Quincy Williams returned to the field in Week 6. If you have short benches, he might have been dropped for someone who was healthy, as the extent of Quincy’s injury wasn’t entirely known. Williams was on the field for 81% of the snaps and had a solid day of production. It looks like that ankle didn’t bother him at all. Here, he makes a solid tackle on Romeo Doubs preventing a first down.

Williams was busy in coverage and saw 10 targets come his way - resulting in five tackles. On the day, he produced a 23.7% tackle rate, leading to 14 total tackles; plus he missed just one attempt. It was a good return for Williams and he should return to his full-time role over the next week.
