Week 14 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets

We're heading into Week 14. For some of you, the playoffs may begin this week or this is the final week of the fantasy regular season. Fortunately for you, a few productive LBs suffered injuries and we have six teams on bye.

Week 14 teams on bye: Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Washington Commanders

Notable IDPs out in Week 14: Grady Jarrett, Mykal Walker, Rashaan Evans, Richie Grant, Jack Sanborn, Nicholas Morrow, Deandre Houston-Carson, Jaquan Brisker, De'Vondre Campbell, Kenny Clark, Quay Walker, Zaire Franklin, Bobby Okereke, Deforest Buckner, Yannick Ngakoue, Kwity Paye, Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, Kaden Elliss, Pete Werner, Kamren Curl, Montez Sweat, Jonathan Allen, Da'Ron Payne

Time to hit the wire. Here are your targets for the Week 14 IDP waiver wire.

Linebacker

Dylan Cole, LB, Tennessee Titans

This is going to be an interesting week for linebackers, as there were a few injuries that went around. First up is Tennessee. David Long went down early in the game and played just 23 defensive snaps.

Dylan Cole took over for Long upon his exit and played 100% of the snaps and wore the dot as the play-caller for the defense. Cole has been a rotational piece in Tennessee’s defense for most of the season as the LB2 alongside Long but does come off the field in single-LB/dime packages.

If Long misses Week 14, Cole is in line for a three-down role if he wears the dot once again. He’s providing above-average tackle efficiency, as he’s producing an 11.2% tackle rate over 356 defensive snaps. He’s cut down on his missed tackles, as well. He missed six tackles over his first six games, and just two over the last six - resulting in a miss over 11 attempts.

I’m not expecting too much from a pass-rush standpoint, as he’s been deployed on 17 pass-rush snaps, so he’ll be a target in tackle-heavy formats. At this point in the season, it’s tough to ignore an LB who could have a three-down role.

Deion Jones, LB, Cleveland Browns
