Streaming Tight Ends: Week 14 Targets
We made it, despite the brutal season for tight ends. Either you’re here because you made the postseason or you’re still fighting in a league with later playoffs, but either way, let’s wade through the best tight end options in Week 14.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
I had three streamers from last week hit pay dirt, as Jack Doyle, Mike Gesicki and Kaden Smith posted 19.3, 18.9 and 13.0 PPR points as the TE2, TE3 and TE10 on the week, respectively. Our goal in all this is starting tight end results and after 13 weeks, 4for4’s optimal streamer has scored 186.3 PPR points, which equates to TE1 numbers on the season.
In order to provide advice you can actually implement, candidates for streaming must be owned in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

David Njoku (Browns) vs. Bengals
He’s healthy enough to go but didn’t in Week 13. Njoku should be back on the field this week though, in time to face the 16th-ranked defense in tight end aFPA. The Bengals are yielding an average of 11.3 PPR points to opposing tight ends this season, which bodes well for Njoku and a Browns team looking for a bounce-back week.
He’s currently on just 29% of Yahoo! rosters and gets the pleasure of facing the Cardinals in Week 15, a team rich in weak tight end protection in 2019.
