FanDuel Week 7 Cash Game Breakdown
Two DFS cash game strategy staples are to take advantage of discounted volume at the RB position and pay down at TE whenever possible. Thanks to value plays at each of the aforementioned positions, it is possible to fit in a top-five projected QB, the top projected RB, two top-three projected WRs, and te top projected kicker into cash lineups. As a reminder, be sure to diversify more if you tend to play 50/50s or double-ups, as playing only one lineup can lead to volatile performances.

QB Philip Rivers $7,800 @ ATL
Our top value at QB in terms projected floor per dollar, Rivers heads to the A-Town to do battle with a Falcons defense (28th in QB aFPA) allowing the sixth most passing yards per game (297.7) and the fourth-highest completion rate (68.5%). Even though the Chargers are a road underdog, Falcons-Chargers has the highest over/under of the week at 53.5. In 16 games as a road underdog with an over/under of 50+ since 2010, Rivers averages 300 passing yards and 1.88 TDs, compared to 271 yards and 1.83 TDs in all other games.
RB DeMarco Murray $8,700 vs. IND
Excelling in an under-center scheme after struggling last season running primarily out of the shotgun, Murray enters Week 7 ranked third among RBs in FanDuel points per game (19.30) and touches per game (23.0). Murray has handled at least 21 touches in four straight games and has played 95% of snaps in two of his last three. The Colts defense has been getting rampaged by RBs, allowing the most yards per touch (6.1) and total TDs per game (1.5) to the position en route to a last-place ranking in RB aFPA. The Titans are a home favorite and their Vegas implied total is above 25 despite the team averaging only 20 points per game. This bodes well for Murray’s TD odds, as he has scored a robust 40% of Tennessee’s offensive TDs.
