BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Woods vs Chiefs

Robert Woods had scored two touchdowns in the last three game before the bye, but he is not doing much else. He has seen double digit targets a couple times this season, but that is definitely not the norm.

KC is 11th in aFPA to wide receivers so that with Woods track record keeps him on the bench for Week 10.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Woods vs Jets
Robert Woods' targets slipped back to five this past week which has been the norm most of the season. He is still the No. 2 receiver on the Bills depth chart, but expect some inconsistency the rest of the season as we saw just 10 receiving yards against the Vikings.

Woods will have a neutral matchup against the Jets who are 13th in aFPA to wide receivers, but that's not enough to warrant a spot in your starting lineup for Week 8.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Woods vs Vikings
With Mike Williams in Doug Marrone's doghouse, Robert Woods is clearly the No. 2 receiver in Buffalo as evidenced by the 62 snaps in which he was on the field last week. He had a season-high seven catches for a season-high 78 yards and scored his first touchdown of the season.

Woods will benefit even more as rookie Sammy Watkins gets more and more attention on the other side of the field. If you are looking for some WR depth, Woods would be a good wire pickup at this time, but he is not going to help you much for Week 7. Minnesota has a top 10 defense in aFPA to wide receivers so keep him on the bench this week.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6: Woods vs.Patriots
Robert Woods had another three-catch game which is probably the norm for him. Even with veteran QB Kyle Orton at the helm, we didn't see any change with Woods.

The Bills passing game will struggle this week so Woods might get his three catches again, but that is about it. Keep him on the bench for Week 6.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Woods vs. Bills
Robert Woods had a team-high 12 targets last week, but that was with E.J. Manuel at QB. The targets didn't do much good anyway because he had only three catches for 17 yards.

We will see how the Bills offense does with Kyle Orton, but for now we will expect more of the same. Keep Woods on the bench.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4: Woods vs Texans
Robert Woods was targeted 8 times last week, a season-high. It didn't produce good results as he only caught two passes. Part of the problem is QB E.J. Manuel. His inconsistency hurt fringe receivers like Woods.

For Week 4 against the Texans, Woods should remain on the bench. Although he is the Bills No. 2, his value will only be relevant when he has better matchups.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3: Woods vs Chargers
Robert Woods had only 1 catch during for Week 2. He watched the rookie Sammy Watkins bring down 11 balls so this should be something we see a lot. Woods will be a supporting piece of the Bills passing game.

Woods is not a good candidate to play for your team Week 3. He might not even be worthy of a roster spot in most leagues.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2: Woods vs Dolphins
Robert Woods was the best Bills' wide receiver last week with 4 catches for 78 yards. If Woods can continue to put up decent yardage and get into the end zone occasionally, he could come into the fantasy conversation.

For Week 2, the Dolphins pass defense is pretty good so none of the Bills' wide receivers are good plays. Keep Woods on the waiver wire or bench, but definitely watch how Buffalo uses him.

BUF WR Robert Woods - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1: Woods vs. Bears
Robert Woods is the No. 3 wide receiver in Buffalo, but there are factors that will probably limit his production. The Bills issue is at quarterback because we are not sure how EJ Manuel is going to do in his second season. This brings down the value of all the receivers in Buffalo.

Woods is not a player that should be in anyone's roster, but keep an eye on the Bills passing game the first three or four weeks to see if anyone emerges.
