NO QB Drew Brees - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Detroit
Drew Brees completed 31-of-41 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints Week 14 victory over the Bucs. Although he started off red-hot and then cooled in the second half, Brees still put together an excellent performance for fantasy owners in their first round of the playoffs. For those owners that advanced, Brees will be a QB1 versus the Lions, as he ranks as our QB6 for Week 15. Detroit owns the No. 22 fantasy defense versus quarterbacks this season.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Tampa Bay
Drew Brees completed 24-of-42 passes for 282 yards, with three touchdowns and an interception in the Saints' Week 13 loss to the Panthers. It was Brees' first three-score effort in three weeks and it was a gutsy performance against one of the league's elite defenses. He's now on pace for 4,748 yards and 31 touchdowns and has a good matchup versus the Bucs, who own the No. 22-ranked fantasy defense versus quarterbacks this season. That said, Brees is ranked as our QB13 for Week 14, as Alex Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tyrod Taylor have better matchups. Brees is a QB1 this week in deeper leagues only.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Carolina
Drew Brees completed 25-of-44 passes for 228 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in the Saints' Week 12 loss to the Texans. J.J. Watt did J.J. Watt-type things, destroying New Orleans' offense almost single-handedly at times. Brees' interception came near the goal line when Kareem Jackson jumped a route and thwarted any attempts by the Saints to mount a comeback. The QB now has just five touchdowns in his last three games. If you're a Brees owner, you'll need to survey the waiver wire this week because he has a horrible matchup against the Panthers, who own the No. 2 fantasy defense versus quarterbacks. If Jay Cutler, Alex Smith or Ryan Fitzpatrick are available, they're better options than Brees in Week 13.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Houston
Drew Brees completed 19-of-28 passes for 202 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Saints Week 10 loss to the Redskins. It was Brees' third straight multi-touchdown game. He'll face fantasy's No. 11-ranked defense versus quarterbacks but he remains a top 10 quarterback. Brees ranks as our QB8 for Week 12 and should be in your lineup.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Redskins
Drew Brees completed 28-of-39 passes for 389 yards with three touchdowns and an interception in the Saints Week 9 loss to the Titans. He also scored on a one-yard quarterback sneak. In his last two games, Brees has thrown for 11 touchdowns and just two interceptions and is our QB4 for Week 10. Get him in your lineup.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee
Drew Brees completed 40-of-50 passes for 511 yards with seven touchdowns and an interception in the Saints 52-49 win over the Giants in Week 8. The seven touchdowns tied the NFL record which was set by Nick Foles in 2013. Brees has looked like a completely different quarterback since his shoulder injury heeled and the Saints have rediscovered their explosive offense. The Titans have fantasy's No. 10 defense against quarterbacks this season, but it doesn't matter: Brees is on fire and should be in all lineups. He ranks as our QB3 for Week 9.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New York Giants
Drew Brees completed 28-of-44 passes for 255 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Saints Week 7 win over the Colts. It could have been a bigger fantasy day for Brees had Ben Watson not been stopped at the one-yard line on two separate deep passes, but Brees nevertheless looks healthy after missing Week 2 with a shoulder injury. He'll face the No. 21 fantasy defense against quarterbacks this Sunday when the Saints host the Giants. He's our No. 8 quarterback for Week 8.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Indianapolis
Drew Brees completed 30-of-39 passes for 312 yards and a touchdown in the Saints Week 6 win over the Saints. It wasn't exactly vintage Brees, but it was close enough. He repeatedly found Ben Watson open for gains in the intermediate game and was highly efficient from the start. While he's still not driving the ball outside the numbers, Brees doesn't look limited by the shoulder injury that sidelined him in Week 2. Ranked as our QB7 for Week 8, Brees will be a solid starting option for Sunday's game against the Colts.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Atlanta
Drew Brees completed 26-of-43 passes for 335 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the Saints' Week 5 loss to the Eagles. He also lost two fumbles, which resulted in points for Philadelphia. The good news is Brees looked healthy while taking multiple deep shots to Brandin Cooks. He appears to be close to 100-percent health after sitting out Week 2 with a rotator cuff injury. He'll be a solid QB1 option for Thursday night's game against the Falcons, despite the fact Atlanta has fantasy's No. 7-ranked defense versus QBs.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Philadelphia
We made a mistake by recommending owners should go in a different direction last week with Drew Brees, who wound up throwing for 359 yards and two touchdowns against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. We thought Brees would be limited by the shoulder injury that held him out of Week 3 and while that was the case, he still managed to do a lot of damage with short passes against Dallas' decimated secondary. It was a gutsy performance by Brees, who was removed from the Week 5 injury report. He's back to being a reliable fantasy option and ranks as our QB7 for this Sunday's matchup with Philadelphia.
