NO QB Drew Brees - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12: Brees vs. Ravens
Drew Brees was 33-of-41 for 255 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Saints’ Week 11 loss to the Bengals. Considering he was playing at home where he normally thrives, it was a disappointing afternoon for Brees owners. Cincinnati did a nice job taking away the Saints’ vertical attack and forced Brees to dink and dunk throughout the game. He should get back on track on Monday night versus the Ravens when the matchup gets a little easier. Brees is our No. 4 overall QB for Week 12.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11: Brees vs. Bengals
Drew Brees completed 28-of-47 passes for 292 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in the Saints’ Week 10 loss to the 49ers. His turnovers played a key role in New Orleans’ demise as his first interception led to points for San Francisco, his second pick before halftime took potential points off the board for the Saints, and his fumble in overtime led to the Niners’ game-winning field goal. Even though he has a tough matchup against a Cincinnati team that is 10th in quarterback fantasy points allowed, Brees is always a solid play at home. He’s our 5th overall QB for Week 11 and should be in your lineup.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Brees vs. 49ers
Drew Brees was 24-of-34 for 297 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Saints’ Week 9 win over the Panthers. The output was strong considering the Saints’ offense has had issues on the road over the years. San Francisco has the No. 6 fantasy defense in the NFL but continues to be without top pass rusher Aldon Smith and could once again be without linebacker Patrick Willis (toe). Despite the challenging matchup, Brees ranks as our No. 3 overall QB in Week 10 and should be in your starting lineup.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9: Brees vs. Panthers
Drew Brees completed 27-of-32 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns in the Saints' Week 8 win over the Packers. He didn't throw an incompletion in the second half as the performance was vintage Brees. He's now averaging 318 yards per game with 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions and while he and the Saints have struggled on the road, he's a must-start on Thursday night versus the Panthers. Brees is our No. 6 overall QB for Week 9.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Brees vs. Packers
Drew Brees completed 28-of-45 passes for 342 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Saints’ Week 7 loss to the Lions. Unfortunately his lone interception marred an otherwise solid fantasy day for Brees, who was harassed by Detroit’s nasty front seven for most of the game. The good news is he showed that he can still put up numbers without Jimmy Graham being 100-percent healthy. Consider him a QB1 for Week 8 against the Packers. He ranks as our No. 4 overall QB for this week.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Brees vs. Lions
Drew Brees completed 35-of-57 passes for 371 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in the Saints’ Week 5 win over the Buccaneers. Brees hasn’t gotten off to the start that fantasy owners would like and now he’ll be without tight end Jimmy Graham for up to three weeks due to a shoulder injury. While he remains a QB1, we have him ranked as our No. 11 overall QB for Week 7 as he’ll face a tough Detroit defense led by a ferocious front four. Unless you managed to get your hands on Joe Flacco during the bye week (Flacco is our No. 10 overall QB for Week 7), you’ll have to ride with Brees on Sunday.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Brees vs. Bucs
Drew Brees completed 32-of-44 passes for 340 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the Saints' loss to the Cowboys last Sunday night. He's now on pace for 4,812 yards and 28 touchdowns, which would be his lowest TD output since he threw 28 touchdowns in 2007. The good news for fantasy owners is he has a great matchup this week against the Bucs and the Saints are at home, which is where their offense usually thrives (although that wasn't the case in Week 3 when New Orleans only posted 20 points in a win over Minnesota). Brees ranks as our No. 2 overall QB for Week 5 and should be in your lineup.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4: Brees vs. Cowboys
Drew Brees completed 27-of-35 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints' Week 3 win over the Vikings. Considering he was our No. 1 fantasy QB last week, Brees' performance wasn't eye-popping, but he was efficient nonetheless. He has another great opportunity to post big numbers on Sunday night when he takes on a Dallas defense that has zero pass rush and was ripped for over 300 yards passing and three touchdowns (it would have been four had Jared Cook hung onto the ball in the end zone) by the Rams' Austin Davis last week. Brees' fantasy season is off to a slow start but he once again is our No. 1 QB for Week 4.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3: Brees vs. Vikings
Drew Brees completed 27-of-40 passes for 237 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Saints' shocking Week 2 loss to the Browns. Brees has defended the Saints' road play over the last few years, but it's clear they're a different team away from the Superdome. The good news is that they'll play their home opener on Sunday versus a Vikings team that gave the Patriots plenty of scoring opportunities last week. With the Saints at home this weekend, Brees is our No. 1 QB for Week 3 and is in store for a massive bounce back performance.

NO QB Drew Brees - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2: Brees vs. Browns
Drew Brees completed 29-of-42 passes for 333 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Saints' 37-34 loss to the Falcons. He was out-dueled by Matt Ryan in the loss, but still posted solid fantasy numbers. There won't be many weeks this season when he's held to only one touchdown and remains a QB1 in all formats. He's our No. 4 overall QB for Week 2 against the Browns.
