Divisional Round at New England Patriots
Delanie Walker showed up in a big way last week, catching 6 passes for 74 yards. He will be a matchup problem for the Patriots this week. He won't be the best tight end playing in this game, but he might produce numbers comparable to Rob Gronkowski.
Wild Card Round at Kansas City Chiefs
Delanie Walker was a disappointment the final two weeks of the season, including managing just 3 catches for 19 yards last week. That gave him 6 catches for 52 yards in the final two weeks of the season. But he had at least 3 catches in every game this season, which, in this short week, makes him one of the top tight end options.
Week 17 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Delanie Walker had just 3 receptions for 33 yards last week but hopes to finish off a strong second half against a Jacksonville squad that allowed 4 catches for 61 yards to him in a Week 2 win. Walker is the best option for receptions in this one and remains a TE1 option this week.
Week 16 vs. Los Angeles Rams
Delanie Walker was limited to 5 catches for 37 yards last week but scored for the third time in the past four games after going all season without a touchdown. That's good news in a matchup against the Rams. Los Angeles has allowed 8 touchdown catches to TEs this season, including 4 in the past two games. Walker should be a solid TE1 option this week against the Rams.
Week 15 at San Francisco 49ers
Delanie Walker saw his touchdown streak end at two games but he did catch 5 passes for 42 yards last week. That might not sound like much, but it was about a third of Tennessee's production. He continues to be a mid-level TE1 each week and should have some motivation in this one, returning to play what could be his final trip to his former home in San Francisco.
Week 14 at Arizona Cardinals
Delanie Walker has saved his best for crunch time, scoring in each of the past two games while also posting 63 yards. He also had 5 catches, his fifth game in the past six with at least 5 receptions. He's dealing with an ankle injury but is expected to play this week. Walker remains one of the better tight end plays in fantasy thanks to his volume and status in the offense.
Week 13 vs. Houston Texans
Walker finally got into the end zone last week and also caught 4 passes for 63 yards. With Rishard Matthews out, Walker should see a few more targets come his way this week. Houston has also given up 6 touchdowns to the tight end position this season. He should be a decent TE1 play this week.
Week 12 at Indianapolis Colts
Delanie Walker had 6 receptions for a season-high 92 yards last week but also dropped a touchdown pass. He has failed to score in a game this season and was held to 4 receptions for a season-low 17 yards in Week 6 by Indianapolis. The Colts haven't been nearly that stingy against tight ends this season. Walker should be a decent TE1 start this week.
Week 11 at Pittsburgh Steelers
Delanie Walker had a solid 6 receptions for 63 yards last week but again failed to score. He also suffered a wrist injury. He'll play this week but the Steelers have been good against tight ends this season, allowing just two scores to the position this season. They also shut down Jack Doyle last week. Walker is a low-end TE1 this week.
Week 10 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Delanie Walker hauled in 5 passes for 71 yards last week but failed to score yet again. He has yet to reach the end zone this season and the Bengals have given up just 2 TD passes to tight ends. Walker's volume makes him a TE1 play, but he's a low-end one, in what has been a disappointing season.
