NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at New York Giants
With WR Brandon LaFell back in the mix, Danny Amendola has been relegated to an ancillary role, playing 47 percent and 50 percent of the snaps the last two weeks, respectively, with a combined 5-35-0 line. The hope for Amendola's usage moving forward lies in the vacuum created by RB Dion Lewis' season ending injury. In Week 7, with Lewis out, Amendola put up a solid 8-86-1 line off nine targets. With only one game as a reference point, this is far from predictive, though. Amendola may make a reasonable bench stash in deeper leagues, but should be on your benches for the time being.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Washington
With Dion Lewis healthy and Brandon LaFell playing over 80 percent of the snaps last week, Danny Amendola has returned to his ancillary role on the Patriots. He is capable of producing when given the chance, but he'll be tough to predict unless the injury bug hits again. Installed as a large favorite this weekend, the Patriots may end up turning to the backups, as they did in Week 3 versus Jacksonville. Amendola makes for a punt option this weekend, but owners would do well to find better options.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Miami
Danny Amendola put up his second strong game in a row catching eight of his nine targets for a 8-86-1 line. This brings Amendola's seasonal line up to 25-289-2, with 15-191-1 of his production coming in the last two weeks. These last two weeks have shown Amendola is capable of performing in this offense when given the chance, but owners would do well to remember his increased usage has aligned with injury struggles of WR Julian Edelman and RB Dion Lewis (marked questionable for TNF). The last two weeks have shown us Amendola has upside, but with WR Brandon LaFell coming onto the field and Edelman not on the injury report, we recommend exercising caution. This week, we rank Amendola as a boom/bust fringe WR4 or weak WR5, depending on your league size

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs New York Jets
With fellow WR Julian Edelman battling through a finger injury, Danny Amendola stepped up nicely with a 7-105 line off nine targets. With Edelman not even on the Week 7 injury report, though, we don't suggest trusting Amendola in your lineups, especially in this tough matchup against a stingy Jets defense. We have WR5 or fringe WR6, depending on your league size.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Dallas
Yet to top 40 yards on the season, we suggest Amendola owners look elsewhere for roster slots. In our rest of season ranks, we rank him only slightly above fellow Patriots WR Brandon LaFell, whose health is very much in question.

Friday, October 9, 2015 - 10:38am
NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at BUF
On a night where Tom Brady completed 25 of 32 for a stellar 288-4 line, Danny Amendola only saw three targets, playing just over half the snaps. While Amendola may flash at times and does have some upside, we can't recommend him in your starting lineups until we see more targets and usage on the field. He should be on your benches (or waivers) in Week Two.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 1, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs Pittsburgh
Thrust into a starting role due to Brandon LaFell's status on the PUP, Danny Amendola should have plenty of opportunity early this season to put up fantasy numbers. We suggest a wait-and-see approach, however, before trusting him in your starting lineups. Even in this plus matchup, we have him projected as a fringe WR5, depending on your league size. Hopefully you have better options in Week 1.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 20, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 20 vs Colts
Amendola enjoyed his best game of the 2014 season at the most important time, putting up a 5-82-2 line. He may be a reasonable dart this weekend, but his floor is extremely low, as in zero.

Friday, January 16, 2015 - 1:34pm
NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs Bills
Amendola put up about a third of his 2014 production in Week 16, with a 8-63 line. With all the question marks surrounding starters in Week 17, it's possible Amendola sees some extended playing time. We rank him as WR46, and WR38 in PPR. There may be some sneaky upside though, if the cards fall right, especially in PPR leagues.

Friday, December 26, 2014 - 1:15pm
NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Denver
Amendola caught both his Week 8 targets, but totaled only five yards. He has yet to exceed 20 yards in a game this season and has been held without a catch in four games.
