NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Carolina Panthers

Danny Amendola only played 50% of snaps last week. That's not enough action to warrant starting lineup consideration in fantasy. Brandin Cooks and Chris Hogan are the WRs to start on this team.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Chiefs

It's unclear whether Chris Hogan or Danny Amendola will take over the slot role with Julian Edelman gone for the season. What's more likely is the Patriots rotate personnel there, while also utilizing 2-WR sets. As such, Amendola is too risky to start Week 1.

NE WR Danny Amendola - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Danny Amendola took a pay cut to stay a Patriot, so his job is likely safe and he has been said to be moving well after his offseason ankle and knee surgeries though his Week 1 status is still in question.

Fantasy Downside
Competition, health, age, pick your poison as Amendola will most likely be eased into action following these injuries. His role could be in danger to guys like Chris Hogan and Malcolm Mitchell.

2016 Bottom Line
Amendola should really be on your fantasy radar unless he can come back healthy and carve out a role in this offense. Could be tough sledding and an unreliable fantasy season for Amendola on an offense that is loaded with talent.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 20, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

AFC Championship at Denver
Last week Danny Amendola saw three targets, putting up a 2-18 line. As long as Julian Edelman is healthy, Danny Amendola figures to play a reserve role in the Patriots offense. With that in mind, we have Amendola as WR12 this weekend, with only four teams going.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 19, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 19 vs Kansas City
With Julian Edelman back in the mix, Danny Amendola figures to return to his reserve role. He can excel when given the chance, but is a longshot flier this weekend only.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Tennessee
Danny Amendola converted eight targets in Week 14 into a 6-46 line, more appreciated by PPR owners. After three consecutive games of double digit targets, last week was his lowest target total since WR Julian Edelman was injured. Facing an aFPA matchup in the bottom third to opposing WRs, Amendola figures to get back on track this weekend for owners. We have him as a WR3, with his normal PPR bump into the WR2 conversation.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Houston

Danny Amendola put up another strong outing in Week 13, with a 7-62-1 line especially appreciated in PPR leagues. Since WR Julian Edelman's injury in Week 10, Amendola has been fantastic when healthy, basically averaging a 9--87-.33 line over that span.

In a tough aFPA matchup (Houston ranks in the top 10 in aFPA to WRs), Amendola figures to continue his possession role for the Patriots, and is a weak to solid WR2, depending on your league size.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Philadelphia
After missing Week 12 with an injury, Danny Amendola figures to return to the lineup in Week 13 in a great matchup against the Eagles who are 32nd ranked aFPA to WRs. Reports are worth monitoring throughout the weekend, though, as how healthy Amendola is and how effectively he'll play is still somewhat in question. In a great matchup and with all the Patriots' skill player injuries of late, Amendola figures to be in plenty of lineups regardless. We have him as on the fringe of the WR2/3 conversation, with his normal PPR bump.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Denver
Danny Amendola was one of the lone fantasy bright spots for the Patriots in Week 1, putting up a 9-117 line off 12 targets. He may find tougher sledding this weekend, on the road against the stingiest passing game matchup for QBs and WRs. Also a little dinged up, we have Amendola as a weak to solid WR4 play in PPR, depending on your league size. He makes for a desperation only play in standard leagues.

NE WR Danny Amendola - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Buffalo
With Dion Lewis out and Julian Edelman missing a good portion of Week 10's game, Danny Amendola saw 11 targets, hauling in a 10-79 line, especially nice in PPR leagues. With Lewis out for the season and Edelman missing this weekend, Amendola figures to continue his role as a fantasy starter this weekend. We have him as a fringe WR2 or solid WR3 in standard leagues, depending on league size. Not surprisingly, Amendola gets a nice bump in PPR leagues into the solid WR2 conversation.
