BUF WR Cole Beasley - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs New England
Cole Beasley had a season-high 10 targets for Week 3. And he had eight receptions but that only produced 48 receiving yards. Beasley is tied for the team lead in targets, but the rest of his stats won't make an impact unless you have him in a PPR league. But even then, he will be limited again because of the matchup against the Patriots who have a good pass defense.

Keep Beasley on the bench. He is never going to be a big yardage guy and still doesn't have a touchdown this season. Might want to find a better option for the bench.

BUF WR Cole Beasley - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Cincinnati
Cole Beasley had a strong performance last Sunday even though he had only four catches. But the receiving yardage was twice as much compared to the season opener. Beasley ended the day with 83 yards and continues to be the second most targeted receiver on the Buffalo roster.

Cincinnati has been stingy against wide receivers through the first two weeks and were ranked 11th in aFPA to the position in 2018. So, we don't expect anything big coming from Beasley or any of the Bills receivers. Keep Beasley on the bench and expect a similar day to the first two games.

BUF WR Cole Beasley - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at New York Giants
It was a quiet Bills' debut for veteran Cole Beasley. Although he was targeted nine times, he ended with five receptions but for only 40 yards. It's probably not surprising considering he is the slot receiver and has always been a more of a possession receiver, but he was hoping Buffalo would use him differently. There's still time for that to happen.

It's a good matchup for Week 2 as the Giants are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. Beasley isn't expected to be a great fantasy option and probably should not even be on your roster unless you are playing a deep league.

BUF WR Cole Beasley - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at New York Jets
Cole Beasley comes to Buffalo to play the slot, a position he had a lot of success in Dallas. He caught 65 passes in 2018 for 672 yards and has been a solid wide receiver in his NFL career. The big question will be how can he fare in an offense that is less developed.

Beasley isn't going to overwhelm anyone statistically so he is already fighting his career number compared to serviceable fantasy receivers. He will get snaps, but how effective will second-year QB Josh Allen be is still to be determined.

He is a borderline roster player entering the season for the Bills and even with a good matchup against a Jets pass defense that struggled last year, there is no reason to start him Week 1. Most likely you can stash him a deep league on your bench and see what Buffalo's passing game can do.

BUF WR Cole Beasley - 2019 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Cole Beasley has averaged 55 catches per season over the last four years and has proven to be a big-time slot receiver. He actually was the Cowboys No. 1 receiver for part of his stay in Dallas. Now, he will be the Bills’ most veteran receiver and should provide a comfort zone for second-year QB Josh Allen.

Fantasy Downside
Welcome to the Buffalo offense, Cole! Although Allen and the Bills will improve, they aren’t Dak Prescott and the Cowboys. And Beasley is not getting any younger as he hits age 30.

2019 Bottom Line
Beasley will help Allen and the offense, but his numbers will drop drastically from Dallas. Look for 40 catches and around 425-450 yards. He is going late in drafts and his ADP of 243 is accurate to where he should go.

DAL WR Cole Beasley - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee Titans

Cole Beasley had 16 receptions in his last two games before the bye week, but can he continue to be QB Dak Prescott's favorite target, especially with the acquisition of former first-round pick Amari Cooper? Beasley had two touchdowns against Jacksonville back in Week 6, but those are his only scores this season.

It's a great matchup for Beasley against the Titans who are 29th in aFPA to wide receivers, but with the arrival of Cooper, we don't know how it will play out with targets and receptions. Keep Beasley on the bench for Week 9.

DAL WR Cole Beasley - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Washington Redskins

Cole Beasley exploded last Sunday with nine receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Before you go pick him up for your fantasy team, remember he had one catch the week before for eight yards. So, we aren't sold on Beasley being quite ready for a regular role on your team.

In fact, he still probably shouldn't be on your roster just yet. Sit him against a tough Washington pass defense.

DAL WR Cole Beasley - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Cole Beasley only had one reception for 8 yards last week. After Ezekiel Elliot, he is the most targeted Cowboy, but he will face a Jacksonville defense that is 3rd in aFPA to wide receivers. Beasley has very little fantasy impact as do all of the Dallas wide receivers. Keep them on the bench and most should not even be on a roster.

DAL WR Cole Beasley - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Houston Texans
Cole Beasley had a decent game last week with four catches for 53 yards. He remains the top targeted Cowboy not name Ezekiel Elliot. However, the Dallas passing game is still very questionable.

Beasley is the best option of all the Cowboys receivers, but still not good enough to be any more than a bench player.

DAL WR Cole Beasley - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Detroit Lions

Cole Beasley remains the best wide receiver fantasy option in Dallas but that's not saying much. He was held to three catches last week and we don't expect much more in Week 4. Keep Beasley on your bench.
