CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 18 Fantasy Football Outlook

Wild Card Playoffs vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Allen Robinson sat out the final game of the season, but he's been a full participant in practice all week and is expected to return for Chicago's playoff run. Before his inactive tag, Robinson led the Bears in receiving for three straight games (42, 54, 85). Robinson is the clear No. 1 option, but that doesn't mean much for a team that doesn't usually put up monster passing stats.

He gets a decent matchup against the Eagles in the opening round of the playoffs, but his ceiling is a bit limited. He scored in just three of his 13 games this season, making him a weak touchdown threat. We can likely expect over 50 yards, but not much else.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at San Francisco 49ers

Allen Robinson caught three passes for 54 yards last week and has now gone five straight games without a score. Robinson hasn't quite lived up to expectations this season. Between his lack of scoring (he's only scored in three games) and his lack of production (averaging just over 50 yards) he isn't producing where most experts thought he would. But he is still valuable as he's the clear No. 1 target in the Bears' passing game. He'll face the 49ers this week who are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing WRs. We like him as a solid WR2.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Green Bay Packers

Allen Robinson had 42 of Mitch Trubisky's 110 passing yards last week. So overall, Robinson's numbers weren't great, but in perspective to the overall picture, he was pretty involved in the offense. Still, four of his last six games he's finished under 50 yards and he only scored in one of those contests.

He gets a decent matchup this week against the Packers, a team he went 4-61 against in Week 1. He should be able to finish around those numbers again this week with a chance for a score. We like him as a decent WR2 choice.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Allen Robinson caught five of his nine targets from Chase Daniel last week for 79 yards. It was more yards than he's had in the previous two games combined, so it's a nice trend in the right direction for A-Rob.

He gets a decent matchup this week against the Rams in what could be a high-scoring game. At the very least, the Bears are expected to throw more than usual in this game, which should lead to more targets in Robinson's direction. We like him as a lower-end WR2 choice.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Allen Robinson at New York Giants

Allen Robinson had just two catches for 37 yards last week at Detroit with Chase Daniel at QB. It was a big difference from the 133-yard effort he had vs. the Lions with Mitch Trubisky at QB just two weeks prior. This is now the second game in a row Robinson has finished with 30-40 yards, and hopefully, it's not a trend that continues for him.

It could, however, as A-Rob gets a tough matchup against the Giants this week. New York is allowing the ninth-fewest fantasy points to wideouts and has only allowed a touchdown to the position in one of its last four games. Robinson is more of a WR3 play this week.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Detroit Lions

After having a monster game in his return, Allen Robinson crashed back down to reality with a 3-39 performance vs. Minnesota. To be fair, it was a difficult matchup and a lower output was somewhat expected.

This week, he returns to face the Lions, the team he exploded against. In case you forgot, just two weeks ago Robinson had 133 yards and two scores vs. Detroit. Don't expect quite a big day, but he should be able to do better than he did vs. Minnesota. He can be viewed as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 option.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Allen Robinson was finally healthy and returned to action in a big way last week. The former Jaguar caught six of his team-high eight targets for 133 yards and two touchdowns. It was easily his best performance of the season, and a sign he's fully recovered from the groin injury that sidelined him for two games.

That big comeback may be short-lived, however, as he gets a tough matchup vs. the Vikings this week. Minnesota has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wideouts this season, which means life should be difficult Robinson in Week 11. He should be viewed as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 this week.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Detroit Lions

Allen Robinson has missed two straight games, but has declared himself to be "100 percent" healthy for Week 10. He hasn't done a whole lot in his first season with the Bears, but he's provided a few noteworthy starts.

He gets a somewhat unfavorable matchup this week against the Lions, however. Detroit has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs. but has given up seven scores to wideouts over the last four games. Robinson should be viewed as a mid-tier WR3 option in Week 10.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New York Jets

While Mitch Trubisky had another 300-yard game, Allen Robinson was nowhere to be seen. He hauled in one of his five targets for just four yards. He was out of the lineup for most of the second half as he aggravated his groin injury.

There's a strong chance Robinson misses this game as he didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. At the very least, he could have limited snaps like last week if he does end up playing. Robinson is a risky start depending on his health.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New England Patriots

Allen Robinson hasn't been spectacular this year, but he's been a reliable choice. He's averaging over 50 yards a game and has scored in two straight contests. He's been slightly overshadowed by other options, such as Taylor Gabriel and Tarik Cohen, but he's still the best bet for yards and scores in this offense.

Robinson gets a decent matchup this week against the Patriots. Due to New England's high-scoring offense, teams have had to keep up, which has led to more passes, and in return more production for wideouts. Allen should be just fine this week vs. New England and can be viewed as a WR2.
