MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New York Giants

Adrian Peterson left last week's game and re-entered, but clearly wasn't the same guy. He finished with 63 yards on 18 carries as Jerick McKinnon had a big game. Peterson has missed practice this week, but he's still expected to play.

Assuming he starts, this will be a favorable matchup for Peterson against a bad Giants defense. The Giants have allowed over 100 yards to backs in seven of their last 10 games. Peterson should be viewed as a strong RB1, if he plays.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Chicago

Adrian Peterson wasn't dominate last week, but he had 86 total yards and a touchdown, which isn't bad at all. Peterson has been one of the best players all year long, and has likely been a cornerstone for your team's playoff run if you're still in it.

This week he gets a favorable matchup against the Bears. He went off for over 100 yards in his last game against Chicago earlier this season. There's really no reason to not like AP this week, and he should be viewed as a very strong RB1 play.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Arizona

Adrian Peterson received eight carries last week, which is the lowest number of his career in a game he started and finished. Part of the reason was the Vikings early deficit, and another reason was Minnesota not picking up first downs to keep drives alive.

While AP struggled, it's nothing to get too worried about. He's still a must-start option every week in fantasy because of what he can do. He won't get a great matchup this week, so he's not a top-5 option, but he's still an RB1.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Adrian Peterson is averaging 122 total yards per game, and has scored eight times in 11 outings. He's having an MVP-type season for Minnesota, and they know it. Every week Peterson is getting plenty of touches to carry the offense for the Vikings.

He gets a brutal matchup this week against the Seahawks, but don't let the deter you too much. The Vikings are going to need to run the ball this week, and Peterson has a good chance of breaking at least one run. Peterson's been a beast all season, and he should be viewed as a strong RB1 this week.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Green Bay

Adrian Peterson is killing it right now, and last week he had his best game of the season — 203 yards rushing. He also scored in his second consecutive game. Peterson is clearly the focal point of this offense as he's received 31 and 28 touches in the last two games, respectively.

He faces a Packers defense this week that has allowed big games to great running backs this season. Peterson is capable of reeling off another 100-plus yard game this week and should be viewed as a must-start option.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Oakland
Adrian Peterson is averaging 110 total yards per game this season and has scored four times. He's easily one of the best running backs available and is very reliable on a weekly basis. This week, he gets a great matchup against a Raiders defense that allowed DeAngelo Williams to run wild a week ago. If Williams can do it, then Peterson sure can. The Vikings back will be a top-5 option this week in all formats.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. St. Louis

Adrian Peterson had another 100-yard game last week, although he failed to find the end zone. Peterson has had a great season so far and has put up big numbers almost every week.

He may struggle against the Rams in Week 9, considering they have a tough defense. St. Louis has allowed a few big rushing days throughout the season, but they are pretty tough overall. Still, Peterson is one of the best backs in the league and he'll get plenty of touches to create production. He should be viewed as a RB1 option.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Chicago

Adrian Peterson's "shrimp game" wasn't anything legendary, but he did finish with 110 total yards last week. He's now averaging more than 100 yards per game.

He'll face a Bears team this week that has surprisingly been good against the run. Chicago hasn't allowed a touchdown to a back since Week 2 and has been average when it comes to yardage. It may not be a dream matchup, but Peterson is still very capable of putting up big numbers. He's a must-start RB1 play this week.

MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Detroit

Adrian Peterson couldn't get anything going against Kansas City last week. He had plenty of opportunities, rushing 26 times, but finished with a mere 60 yards on the ground. He also had negative-3 yards on a lone reception.

This week, he'll look to dominate against the Lions, which is something he did in Week 2. Peterson had 192 total yards in that game. The Lions defense hasn't improved since their last meeting, so expect another big game. Peterson is a must-start option this week.

Friday, October 23, 2015 - 10:01am
MIN RB Adrian Peterson - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Kansas City
Adrian Peterson is off to a strong start this season, averaging 116 total yards per game, with three scores in his last two performances. He's coming off of a bye week into a decent matchup against the Chiefs. So far, there's really been no reason to doubt Peterson's skills. He's brought his best every week, and should be viewed as a must-start RB1 in Week 6.
