Week 6 vs Cincinatti Bengals

Darius Slayton slots in as the de facto WR2 in the offense with Malik Nabers set to miss Week 6.

He saw 11 targets last week, gaining 122 yards and finding the end zone against Seattle. Slayton gets to take on a Bengals defense that has allowed six wide receivers to break 15 PPR Points this season. At WR32, he's startable as a WR3.

Week 5 at Seattle Seahawks

Darius Slayton just squeaks into the conversation this week as WR48. Slayton should see some extra work with Malik Nabers out of the picture for at least a week.

He earned a season-high five targets against Dallas last week. With more targets to go around, we'd expect a bump from there. He's flex-worthy if you don't have better options.

Week 1 vs. Dallas Cowboys

At times, Darius Slayton looks like the best wide receiver in New York. He led the team with 724 receiving yards in 2022 and scored eight touchdowns as a rookie way back in 2019. At other times, Slayton looks like “just another guy” in the offense, and it’s worth questioning why he hasn’t been able to put up more production given the dearth of passing options on the team. This year, he’ll have more competition for targets. He’s probably worth rostering in deeper leagues, but we have him ranked outside starting territory to kick off the season. Let’s wait and see what the target share looks like after the first few games before we bank on Slayton. Sit him.

Week 17 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Darius Slayton continues to get steady targets, with six last week and at least six in eight out of 12 games this season. Slayton finished last week’s tilt against the Vikings with four catches for 79 yards.

This week, Slayton faces a Colts defense that ranks 13th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Slayton offers a decent floor based on his targets but limited upside. He should be considered a low-end WR3 option in most leagues.

Week 16 at Minnesota Vikings

Darius Slayton caught five of seven targets last week against the Commanders, but was held to just 23 yards. It was his lowest yardage total in eight games, and third-lowest of the season. Slayton has been a reasonably steady option in an unsteady receiving corps for the Giants.

Slayton has upside this week against a Vikings defense that ranks dead last in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Banking on any Giants wide receiver is tough, but Slayton has the potential to put up low-end WR2 numbers or solid WR3 numbers in a nice matchup.

Week 15 at Washington Commanders

Darius Slayton struggled along with the rest of the Giants offense last week against the Eagles. He finished with just two catches on three targets for 42 yards. Slayton had a run of at least three catches and 60 yards in five straight games prior to Week 14, however, so he has some fantasy value in deeper formats.

This week, we have him ranked as a low-end WR3 option against a tough Washington defense that ranks eighth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. The semi-emergence of Isaiah Hodgins and Richie James in the offense has made Slayton less of a “last person standing” in the New York receiving corps, but he still should lead the team in targets in most weeks.

Week 14 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Darius Slayton had another modest, but effective performance last week against the Commanders, catching six of his eight targets for 90 yards. Slayton is the clear top option in the Giants’ receiving corps, giving him a nice floor, particularly in PPR leagues. That said, he’s yet to eclipse 100 yards in a game and has just two touchdowns all season, so the ceiling is pretty limited.

This week, Slayton faces a tough Eagles defense that ranks 11th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Slayton is worth considering as a WR3 or low-end flex option, but most fantasy managers should be looking elsewhere for a higher upside player in most leagues. If you need a few guaranteed PPR points, however, Slayton is worth inserting into lineups.
