PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Baltimore Ravens
Pat Freiermuth had his highest target and reception total in the last month on Sunday night. He ended up with seven catches for 66 yards. He seems to be healthy again after suffering a concussion.

Freiermuth faces the Ravens who are ranked seventh in aFPA to tight ends. The first time he faced Baltimore he had three catches for 33 yards, a touchdown, and that concussion.

As long as he plays, Freiermuth is a threat. Start him as a low-end TE1 for Week 17 against the Ravens.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Pat Freiermuth went without a target or catch last week which is very unusual. His previous target low this season was four. QB Kenny Pickett is set to return this week and that should help Freiermuth get back on track.

The Raiders are up next and are ranked 9th in aFPA to tight ends. It should be a bounce-back game for Freiermuth so start him as a low-end TE1 for Week 16. We expect him to return to his normal production on Saturday night.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Carolina Panthers
Pat Freiermuth had three receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown last week, but he also was injured and hasn't practiced this week. He faces the Panthers who are ranked 9th in aFPA to tight ends.

If he plays, he is a must-start as a TE1 but the active list should be watched closely to see if he can go. Even with the quarterback situation in limbo, Freiermuth is reliable no matter who is behind center.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Baltimore Ravens
Pat Freiermuth has been hot and cold this season. Last week, it was hot with three receptions for 76 yards. He has been capable of making plays downfield, but has also been held to short receptions.

Freiermuth faces the Ravens who are ranked 17th in aFPA to tight ends. This might be one of the better matchups for the Steelers offense this week.

Start him as a top-five fantasy tight end for Week 14. Freiermuth has found a good connection with QB Kenny Pickett and the numbers have been helpful in recent weeks.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Atlanta Falcons
Pat Freiermuth had his least productive game since Week 5 with only three receptions for 49 yards. But don't focus on that one game. He has been very good the last month. He will face the Falcons who are ranked 24th in aFPA to tight ends.

With a favorable matchup and the attention of QB Kenny Pickett, start Freiermuth as one of the top fantasy tight ends for Week 13. It should be a nice bounce back for the second year player.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Indianapolis Colts
Pat Freiermuth had a season-high 12 targets and tied his season-high with eight receptions to move his fantasy stock up the charts. He ended up with 79 receiving yards on the day. The only downside for the second-year tight end has been in the red zone where he has only one touchdown on the season.

Freiermuth will face Indianapolis who is ranked 14th in aFPA to tight ends. The Colts have done a good job against opposing wide receivers this season, but the tight ends have had some good games.

Start Freiermuth as a solid TE1 for Week 12. He might even be a top-five fantasy tight end this week as he has definitely moved up the charts as the season has progressed.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Pat Freiermuth has had seven targets and four receptions in each of the last two games. That has produced a combined 93 yards. Solid numbers, but one place that has been disappointing is the red zone where he has one touchdown all season. Last season he had seven total.

Freiermuth will face the Bengals for the second time this year. In the first meeting, he had a season-high 10 targets and ended up with 75 receiving yards. Cincy has been better against tight ends ranked 6th in aFPA against them.

Start Freiermuth for Week 11 as a solid TE1. He hasn't put up elite numbers but good enough each week to warrant a start and that TE1 ranking.
