Scouting report

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Cleveland Browns

Nico Collins has been making a case to be the top fantasy wide receiver in Houston over Brandin Cooks. Collins now has seen 26 targets over the last three weeks and has caught 16 passes. He stands to see more targets this week as the Texans may have to throw more again against the Browns, giving Collins consideration as a flex option.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Miami Dolphins

Nico Collins has started picking up steam as the WR2 in Houston, posting two straight weeks with 5 catches and almost 50 yards. He has 17 targets over the last two weeks but that was with Davis Mills at quarterback. We'll have to see what kind of connection he'll have with Kyle Allen at quarterback. Even in what looks like a favorable matchup against the Dolphins, Collins just cracks our top 50 receivers this week, so he's a risky start in Week 12.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Washington Commanders

Nico Collins saw ten targets against the Giants, three more than Brandin Cooks. He also scored his first touchdown of the season. He's developed a bit more of a rapport with Davis Mills...but it's still Davis Mills throwing him the football. He's a flex play, at best.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Las Vegas Raiders

Nico Collins has established himself as the WR2 in Houston. Too bad that doesn't equate to much in fantasy land, though he has averaged almost 75 yards over the last two games. He's worth a look in deeper leagues, but it's hard to trust anyone in Houston outside of Dameon Pierce and maybe Brandin Cooks at this point.
