Scouting report

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at New York Jets

Nico Collins now may be more of a WR1 in Houston with Tank Dell out for the season with a knee injury. He was able to show what he can do in a big way last week against Denver with an incredible 191 yards on nine catches. C.J. Stroud is going to be feeding Collins quite a bit this week. Of course, it's a very tough matchup as he'll see a lot of Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. But the volume he'll get will balance things out and Collins still makes a fine starter this week.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Denver Broncos

A strong fantasy day in Week 12 for Nico Collins, catching seven passes (on nine targets) for 104 yards with a touchdown. He'll likely see a good bit of Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II Sunday, but Collins should continue to see plenty of volume as the Texans make a playoff push and C.J. Stroud continues his excellent rookie season. There's plenty of room now for both Collins and Tank Dell to be solid WR2 options the rest of the way,

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Nico Collins had a solid day last week with seven catches for 65 yards with 11 targets. He's still a favorite target of C.J. Stroud and gets a favorable matchup this week against the Jaguars, the No. 24 defense against wide receivers on our board. He remains fairly steady and good enough for a WR2/Flex option.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Nico Collins did not play in last week's big win over the Bengals but looks to be on track to return this week against the Cardinals. His return gives Houston three nice young receivers. With Houston's ability to be explosive on offense, Collins can score on a deep play but also has a nice matchup overall against the Arizona secondary. He's worth a flex look again this week if he plays, so keep an eye on Houston's injury report this weekend.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Cincinnati Bengals

Nico Collins "only" had 54 yards last week, considering C.J. Stroud had 470 passing yards. He did score a touchdown but saw just five targets, interestingly enough. Collins did miss practice Thursday so keep a close eye on him Friday. But if he plays, he's at least a flex with WR2 upside, even in a tough matchup with the Bengals. The Texans are going to have to score points this week to hang around with Cincinnati. Collins should be involved if he plays.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Nico Collins continues his up-and-down campaign by recording just 30 yards against the Panthers, his third game in the last five with less than 40 yards receiving. C.J. Stroud cooled off a bit over the past few weeks, so that has played a factor for Collins recently. That said, Collins has a good matchup this week. The Buccaneers are averaging the fifth-most passing yards allowed this season at 256. If there’s a week for Collins to bounce back, maybe even explode like he did earlier this season, this is the week to do it. It’s a gamble, but Collins has upside this week.

HOU WR Nico Collins - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Carolina Panthers

Nico Collins has certainly been up and down throughout the season, his high point being Week 4 with 168 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers. He gets a favorable matchup against the Panthers’ secondary. He had 80 yards against the Saints, so perhaps the momentum is shifting back in Collins’ favor. He’s worth consideration as your flex or even your WR2 this week. He’s arguably a top-20 option.
