NYG WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at New Orleans Saints

Wan’Dale Robinson got back to being productive on Monday night against the Packers, catching six balls and carrying the ball twice for a total of 115 yards from scrimmage, including a key late-game reception that set up the game-winning field goal. Robinson has shown he can hog targets in the past, so he has some value in PPR formats, but against a Saints defense that ranks fourth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, he’s too risky to put in you lineup this week. Sit him.

NYG WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Washington Commanders

Wan’Dale Robinson is used when he’s healthy. He’s been on the field for at least 60% of the team’s offensive snaps over his last three games, and he’s second to only Darren Waller with 25 targets over his four games this year. He caught all eight of his targets for 62 yards against the Bills last week.

This week, Robinson has a great matchup against a struggling Washington defense that ranks 31st in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Robinson should still get a slew of targets thrown his way, but expect them to continue to be short dump-offs and bubble screens. Robinson is a risky option with the Giants playing so terribly on offense - and he’s questionable with knee issues - but assuming he’s active, he’s worth considering in deep, PPR leagues as a WR3 if you’re desperate.

NYG WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Detroit Lions

After eight targets against the Jaguars in late October, Wan’Dale Robinson has just five combined targets over his last two games. He was held to two catches and 20 yards last week against the Texans, although he was on the field for 75% of the team’s offensive snaps. This week, Robinson faces a vulnerable Detroit pass defense. While he has upside in this matchup, it’s hard to get excited about any of the New York pass-catchers and we have him ranked well outside WR3 territory. Sit him.

NYG WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Houston Texans

Wan’Dale Robinson was held to just 15 yards on a pair of receptions against the Seahawks before the bye last week. However, he preceded that with two games in double digits in PPR formats and had eight targets in Week 7 against the Jaguars. Robinson seems to have secured a spot in this offense and he has some long-term upside.

The Texans are actually pretty good against opposing receivers, ranking ninth in aFPA to the position. Add to that the generally unproductive Giants passing offense and it makes Robinson a tough sell in fantasy lineups. Keep him on the bench in all but the deepest leagues.

NYG WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Seattle Seahawks

Wan’Dale Robinson didn’t find the end zone last week, but he led the team with eight targets and finished with six catches and 50 yards in a victory over the Jaguars. Robinson seems to have a secure spot in the offense and should continue to get targets, giving him added value in PPR formats.

The Seahawks’ young corners are playing really well, and their defense ranks fifth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, so it’s not a good matchup for Robinson heading into Week 8. Still, the Giants are using him all over the field and supplying him with plenty of short passes. We have him ranked as a low-end WR3 option, but he’s worth adding to rosters in case the production continues to increase. He’s also questionable with an undisclosed injury, so keep an eye on the injury report.

NYG WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Wan’Dale Robinson returned to action against the Ravens last week and caught three of his four targets for 37 yards and a touchdown. The Giants desperately need some production at the wide receiver spot, so expect Robinson to get more opportunities to show what he can do. It was good to see him tied for second in targets against Baltimore, but his 23% snap count is concerning. Keep him on the bench for now, but he’s worth a speculative roster addition while we see if he can earn a bigger role in the offense.
