Scouting report

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Cincinnati Bengals
Stefon Diggs has four straight games with double-digit targets and that's good news for his managers. Even though the overall numbers haven't been great, those targets are turning into receptions which especially helps in PPR leagues.

Diggs faces the Bengals who are ranked 19th in aFPA to wide receivers. Last season against Cincy, he had only four receptions for 35 yards in the playoff game. However, that is not the norm.

Start Diggs as a top-five fantasy receiver for Week 9. No matter what opposing defenses do to stop him, QB Josh Allen finds ways to get him the ball and he produces.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Stefon Diggs had double-digit targets for the fifth time in seven games. However, his four-game streak of 100+ receiving yards ended and the Bills lost. Diggs had a season-low 58 receiving yards, however, he did score a touchdown which helped his numbers.

Diggs will face the Buccaneers who are ranked 20th in aFPA to wide receivers. Usually when he has an off-game, Diggs bounces back and we expect with a favorable matchup that to happen.

Start Diggs as a top fantasy wide receiver for Week 8. Despite the short week when teams usually struggle on offense, we expect the Bills to be upset about the loss last week and put up points and fantasy numbers.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at New England Patriots
Stefon Diggs had season-highs in receptions (10) and targets (16) last week and also recorded his fourth straight 100+ receiving yard game. Only down side was he didn't score a touchdown. He continues to be dominant no matter how much defenses key on him.

Diggs will face the Patriots who are ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers. Against New England last season, Diggs had 14 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns in the two games. The Pats have struggled in recent weeks although the defense has suffered because of a poor offense.

Start Diggs as a top-five fantasy wide receiver for Week 7. We expect another big day for him which should be similar to last year's performances.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. New York Giants
Stefon Diggs wasn't the problem last week in London and he rewarded fantasy managers with a season-high eight receptions for 121 yards. He also added his fifth touchdown reception of the season. It was Diggs' third double-digit target game of the season and he remains QB Josh Allen's No. 1 target in the passing game.

Diggs faces the Giants who are ranked 16th in aFPA to wide receivers. The Bills should be upset about last week's performance so expect a bounce-back that will include some big fantasy numbers.

Start Diggs as a top-five fantasy wide receiver for Week 8. We expect similar numbers to last week as he continues to be worth his preseason draft position for fantasy managers.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)
Stefon Diggs had his third 100-yd receiving game and scored 3 touchdowns last week to make him one of the best fantasy plays from last weekend. Diggs was definitely ready for the spotlight that had been shining on Tyreek Hill and he made it count.

Diggs will face the Jaguars next who are ranked 20th in aFPA to wide receivers. We will see how the travel affects Diggs and he will still be the main target for QB Josh Allen. But don't expect anything like last week.

Start Diggs as a solid WR1 for Week 5. Diggs has a good chance to reach that 100-yard mark again and catch 6 to 8 passes.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Miami Dolphins
Stefon Diggs was back to double-digit targets again this week which produced eight receptions for 111 yards. It was his second 100+ receiving yard game of 2023. There is little doubt each week of what Diggs is capable of and that's why he is one of the top fantasy wide receivers each week.

Diggs faces a very good Miami secondary as the Dolphins are ranked 2nd in aFPA to wide receivers. Last season, he had a combined 13 catches for 134 yards in the two regular season games without a score. In the playoffs, he caught seven passes for 114 yards.

Start Diggs as a top-five fantasy wide receiver for Week 4. The veteran will get his targets and catches, but the Dolphins have historically prevented him from having huge games. So expect more of the regular season numbers rather than what he did in the postseason.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Washington Commanders
Stefon Diggs numbers from last Sunday were a downgrade from Week 1 where he saw double-digit targets, a 100-yard receiving day and a touchdown. Against the Raiders, he caught all seven of his targets for 66 yards, but didn't reach the end zone.

Diggs will face the Commanders who are ranked 22nd in aFPA to wide receivers. What you saw last week is probably the floor for him and those targets should get back to double-digits this week.

Start Diggs as a solid WR1 for Week 2. As long as QB Josh Allen is the quarterback, Diggs will be the No. 1 target in the passing game and the numbers will follow.
