KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Miami Dolphins

The Chiefs offense struggled as a unit in Week 9, but despite that, Rashee Rice ended up with a decent receiving line of 4-56 on five targets. He also played a season-high 61% of the offensive snaps. Rice has topped 50 receiving yards in three consecutive weeks, which is good consistency in this Chiefs offense that likes to spread the ball around. We like Rice to continue what he's doing as we have him projected above 50 receiving yards again in Week 9. He draws a good matchup against the Dolphins (22nd aFPA) in what could be a high-scoring game. Rice should be viewed as a strong WR3 play this week.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Denver Broncos

Rashee Rice continues to put up nice stat lines as last week he finished 5-60-1 on six targets. He also played a season-high 59% of the offensive snaps. Rice has been one of the few consistent options among the Chiefs' wide receivers this year and it seems like the rookie is gaining more trust as the season progresses. This week Rice faces the Broncos (17th aFPA), a team he faced just a few weeks ago. In that game, Rice finished with four catches for a season-high 72 yards. We like Rice as a solid WR3 option in Week 8 vs. Denver.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Rashee Rice had a solid outing last week, finishing 4-72 on four targets. His four receptions and 72 yards led the WR group as Rice has emerged as the only semi-reliable WR on the Chiefs this season. This week he'll draw a favorable matchup against the Chargers who are 28th in aFPA to WRs. The Chargers have given up the 5th-most total receiving yards to wide receivers so far this season. We like Rice as a solid WR3 option for Week 7.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Denver Broncos

Rashee Rice is starting to emerge as a viable fantasy asset. Last week he finished 4-33-1 on five targets. Rice has now seen at least five targets in all but one game this season and is only behind Travis Kelce on the team in that category. Rice is the only Chiefs WR putting up fairly consistent numbers, even though his 34.6 yards per game isn't too impressive. This week he draws a favorable matchup against the Broncos who are 18th in aFPA to WRs this season. We like Rice as a mid-tier WR3 option in Week 6.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Minnesota Vikings

Rashee Rice led all non-Kelce Chiefs players in targets in Week 4 with five, finishing with three receptions for 32 yards. Rice leads all Chiefs wide receivers in receptions and targets and is second among Chiefs wideouts in receiving yards through four games. He seems like the best bet among this group of receivers, but it's honestly tough to trust any of these receivers. Rice isn't much more than a low-end WR3 option in Week 5 against the Vikings.
